Do you like watching anime, like Gundam Seed?

Many say that cartoons, of whatever origin and genre, are solely for kids. Nevertheless, young adults who consider themselves kids-at-heart love to watching Japanese animations, popularly known as anime.
Now, are you one of those people who are huge fans of anime? If so, what is your favorite anime? Can you give some details or insights on it? If not, why not? Is there something wrong with anime's, per se?

Yes I am one of those huge fans of anime. Anime challenges your mind in many ways and offers easy entertainment. The mistake made by many non anime watchers is that they compare anime with childish cartoons while a lot of anime series are mind boggling, philosophical, complex and at the least not childish. The standard Hollywood movie is more simplistic and childish then most anime series are.
I do not think the gundam series is one of the most philosophical ones, but it is an intense serie, with nice action, emotional development and is a lot of fun to watch.

You don't necessarily have to be a "kid-at-heart" to enjoy anime. Some anime can be enjoyed as adults, sometimes because the subject matter requires a matured brain to fully appreciate, or requires knowledge that one might learn from high school.
One of my favorite anime shows is Azumanga Daioh, because it's funny and original, and has some interesting characters.
