Grey's Anatomy: Burke should be back next fall

The Grey's Anatomy finale had several cliffhangers. It looked as though Burke has skipped town after he didn't marry Cristina. People have been speculating that Isaiah Washington's contract wasn't renewed. But according to this link, he may be coming back after all:

I hope so! Burke is one of my favorite characters, even if the actor should keep his mouth shut at times.

I hope this is true and Burke really does come back. I really like his character and I love his interaction with Christina, The Chief, and McSteamy now that they have become friends. I can't wait to see what will happen between him and Christina once he comes back. Will he be nonchalant about the situation and be dating someone new? Will Christina be dating someone new? Will Christina want him back? I can't wait!

I thought that I heard he was coming back. I liked the Burke/Christina realationship. It should be interesting to see how they continue this show next season.

I had also heard he was coming back. They wouldn't just leave it with him skipping town. Even if he was leavng the show, there would have to be some resolve. Personally, i don't care either way. He's not my favorite character and I'd be ok with him leaving the show. Especailly since he can't keep his mouth shut. Funny, prejudice from a black man. (yes I said black). And they are the ones who scream racism. Well, that's a whole different topic all together.

I too love Burke and Cristina's relationship and am anxious to see what happens between them next season. I read a report that said the contract had not been finalized but that the writers had no reason to believe Burke wouldn't be coming back. I sure hope he does!

Well i think that Burke is one of the key chars of grey's anatomy, so even if its true that he's quitting then they will have a rough time replacing him. Other thing that bothers me is the constant undecision of Meredith feelings... she acts like a teenager these days... by far she doesnt deserve him

I'm not to crazy about McDreamy these days. He hasn't always treated her that great. One second he wants her, the next he doesn't, then oh by the way you're the love of my life. I don't think she should have to make a decision so soon. For a fictional character, she's had a pretty jacked up life.
