Hi! I was just wondering what Hotlinking means. I come across this term many times. I often come across it in many sites as "Please Do Not Hotlink". So what does it mean?

Hotlinking usually refers to making a direct link from your website to a picture on someone else's website, rather than saving the picture to your website. By hotlinking a picture, you use the other person's bandwith, rather than your own. For some very popular sites, this can cause all sorts of difficulties for them.
