Does Physics support the idea that universe has a beginning? Or does it rather support the idea that the universe has no beginning?

It should surely have some starting as the scientists are not able to find the reality out of it.
Its given that the earth originated as a ball of gases like what now the other planets are. These ball of gases cooled and earth was formed.
then layer by layer it become now what is called our earth. May be same is with the universe.

The consensus in physics is that the universe had a beginning but alternatives have been suggested, such as the rebound theory.

I forgot the name, but someone has suggested that the universe has no sufficient energy to pull back.

Even in Philosophy it is not possible to speculate of beginningless time... so Physics and Philosophy together say that universe has beginning.
