Do you save your money or do you spend when you can?

My mother always says that if you have the money, you should use it because it'll make you feel better. It does, but sometimes something I want to buy comes up and I don't have the money for it. It's kind of difficult for me to save because I collect toys and, partly because of my mother's philospophy, I usually don't hold back. I used to save money too; I had quite a lot saved, but recently I've been spending a whole lot. I'm not broke, but I have just enough to survive and for a few little things.

I save money (kept in a bank) and I won't touch it until I really need to. If I find something that I want to buy, like books and toys (I collect anime figures), I save up and buy it when I have enough money.

What you could do is to list down all the things that you want to buy then rank them according to which you want best. Start saving money for each item slowly ^_^ You shouldn't forget to save money in the bank for the future though..hehe

I wish I had enough money to be able to save some. We always seem to try spending more than we have. I only had two children and a dog, I don't know how families manage with more. I am going to be rich soon with the program on my profile then I will be able to help my children through university and be able to save some.
