Hi there MyLotters,Summer time is coming and a lot of folks have air conditioning to keep cool.
Some folks will just stay cool in a swimming pool. There are beverages such as ice tea and lemonade that helps also. I like Smoothies and I came across a recipe on the Better Homes & Garden website for a Strawberry-Banana Smoothie. It's really simple to make. Here's the recipe:Ingredients
4 cups fresh sliced strawberries
1 medium banana sliced
1 6-ounce carton of vanilla low fat yogart
1 cup ice cubes
1 kiwi fruit, peeled and sliced (optional)
Directions:
In a blender, combine strawberries, banana and yogart; cover and blend until smooth, with blender running, add ice cubes one at a time, through hole in the lid; blend until smooth. Pour into 8 small glasses. If desired, garnish with kiwifruit. Makes about 8 1/2 cup servings.
Enjoy and stay cool my friends.

Thank's for sharing this recipe with us, I just love smoothie's. I got a smoothie maker from my sister a year and a half ago for my birthday and I have been making them ever since. I just love making them on a very hot day, they cool me off. :) :)
