Judgement Day proves out good for some wrestlers but for someone it seems like the worst day of his entire life. Shawn Michaels is not very well, he has suffered a severe concussion...and may be it is quite possible that we'll never be able to see him back...
Few days back we all were talking about DX...whether they will be back or not,now we talk about whether we will be able to see Shawn Michaels back or not...U all people says that WWE is nothing more than a fake than what would u say to this. Is his injury is also a fake, an injury which can take someones life.Today I just hope that WWE will be fake and Shawn will be fit n fine...But I just only hope that...as that's not true he is seriously ill.
Every time here I talk about only John Cena that nobody will be like him and so on... I know that he has won against Khali but today I'm for the first time not at all happy coz' more than that I'm today worried about Shawn. He is a real fighter who fought till the end, he really is more than a Legend. I just hope that even if will not be able to make a come back to WWE, he will be allright and fine back home...May God Bless him healthy long life.

If Michaels had really had that severe of a concussion, they would not have let him fight Orton. If he was really stumbling down the walk, the match would have been called off. Yes people do really get injured because of the moves, but the WWE is not in the business to kill off their entertainers.
My guess is that HHH is getting ready to come back and Michaels is taking a vacation until they can reunite, probably at the next pay per view.

Yes he did have a concusion before the match but the doctor said it was healed enough that the match wouldnt effect it, but it did. When i emailed the wwe about it, they said that it is real and that it is a serious enough injury to end his career.

I do not think his career has ended but it could be quite some time before we see him in the ring again with the concussion. Even though wrestling is scripted, some of the injuries they get are real. A person's body was not meant to take that much abuse, even if the ring is padded or what not. I have mixed feelings toward Shawn but hope that he will be in good health and do well, whether or not he continues wrestling.

Well Shawn Michaels has had a lot of knee problems in the past and now he suffered a knee injury again (concussion was just a storyline angle).
He also had a successful surgery a week ago or so, and now all I can do is count the days until his return, or should I say months (his due to return somewhere around November).
I would definitely love to see Cena - Michaels III with Michaels winning in the end, and then maybe Cena could turn heel or something like that...

i think shawn michaels should be retiring from wrestling. he is a good wrestling but i think he is old for this game. he should let the younger generation show their talents.

Well though my favourite wrestler is The Undertaker but I like Shawn Michaels as well.
Well coming to the point of wrestling being fake, the thing is that as most of us know that the shows are scripted and the result is already pre-determined and you would know if you watch the house shows.
Though sometimes the wrestlers fake injury inorder to leave the company for sometime because they have a life as well but sometimes unpredicted incidents do happen like the one that happened with Shawn Michaels now or for that matter The Undertaker.
Well indeed Smackdown feels empty to me since The Phenom isn't there anymore and now Raw is going to feel empty due to the absence of The Heart Break Kid.
Don't worry Shawn will eventually recover and come back better than ever :)

I also love SHawn Micheals. And really worried about his health. He has truly suffered a lot in his carrear at WWE. Now, i think that he should take rest from it. I will really miss him if he does so. BUt, it would be the best thing to do for him. Now he should spend more time for himself. He is the true SHOW STOPPER, THE HBK and there cant be anyone else like him. HE is a living legend.

oh im sorry to hear that! I used to be a greatest fan of shawn michaels before during my college time, id rather watch the royal ramble than to study my lesson even if i have my final exam the next morning..
but that was before... when im very much addict in wrestling.. and still dont have a knowledge that wrestling is just an act..
though i still pray and hope that shawn michaels get well soon and back into his career again..

I believe the concussion is part of the story line. The real thing is he has a knee problem that either needs getting under the knife or just a lengthy rest. whether this is also part of the storyline for both him and HHH to come back at the same time as DX again, may also be an angle. But I believe he doesn't have the concussion. WWE is a lot of things, entertainment, commercialism, sometimes politics, others see it as dangerous. But WWE is not about having to let people die, especially its own...well, except for accidents like that of Owen. If WWE doctors see it truly for its wrestler as not fit to do his thing, then he won't be out in the ring, or wobbling while walking to the ring for that matter. Michaels is fine, battled and bruised, but fine.

I do believe Shawn Michaels will be back. It won't be for a while. I am going to guess that he won't be seen during the summer time as he needs to get knee surgery. The soonest I would imagine he would return would be Survivor Series. Whether or not, they reunite DX or just keep him and HHH separate is another story.
Without question, you can safely assume that HBK will be in the Hall of Fame as he does deserve it. I'm sure he'll be fine. If worse comes to worse he has to retire, I can imagine he'll stick around as a trainer or a road agent. He probably could do well in either position.

Yes i just read about judgement day a moment ago, i hope vince mcman gets what is coming to him. This is what it said about shawn micheals.
ST. LOUIS – For any WWE Superstar, suffering two concussions in a short span of time is a dangerous scenario. But for someone with a history of concussions like Shawn Michaels, it may end up being career-threatening. HBK has a history of concussions going back to 1995, when he was assaulted and forced to relinquish the Intercontinental Championship. Since then, Michaels has been no stranger to brain trauma, even nearly losing a chance at achieving his boyhood dream of winning the WWE Championship thanks to a concussion.
Injuries are a common part of sports, but a concussion is not just any injury. Because of the physical nature of any sport, concussions might be the toughest thing to overcome. Shawn Michaels has been around a long time and fought his way back from numerous injuries, but at this point in his career, a pair of severe concussions might be too much to overcome.
Why? Well, research from a number of leading neurologists has shown that multiple concussions can cause permanent brain injuries, possibly leading to debilitating memory loss, confusion, dementia and even depression. In the world of sports-entertainment, that’s a dangerous proposition. If a Superstar steps into the ring with impaired brain function, he can put not only himself, but also his partners or opponents into a dangerous situation. Even with the fighting spirit and heart of a champion that HBK possesses, this trauma might be too much for ANY athlete to overcome.
In April 2001, former NFL quarterback Troy Aikman was forced to retire from the sport due to the effects of suffering too many concussions. In his final two seasons with the Dallas Cowboys, Aikman suffered four concussions, the last of which came on what would be the final play of his career.
During his emotional retirement speech, Aikman choked back tears as he said that “I know it’s the right thing for me because of my health, concussions…It took its toll.” Aikman later added that “I want to play, but I just can’t do that anymore.” Let’s hope that the same is not true for Shawn Michaels.
Another example of what concussions can do to an athlete is the case of Milwaukee Brewers third baseman Corey Koskie. After suffering a freak concussion last July, Koskie has yet to return to Major League Baseball and may never be able to at all. As he told the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel in a February interview, months later he still had days where feelings of dizziness and nausea wouldn’t allow him to get out of bed.
“I've talked to a lot of guys who've been through this and they say the worst thing you can do is put a time frame on it. You take it day by day and see how you feel that day,” Koskie said in that interview.
A year later, Koskie is still on the sidelines from just that one concussion. Given Shawn Michaels’ history of having multiple concussions over the years, is this the future HBK is staring at?
Michaels has the heart of a champion and the spirit of a warrior. But while his heart may be telling him go, HBK must ultimately listen to his brain, which will give him the answer to the biggest question of all. Could the events of the past few weeks end Shawn Michaels’ career once and for all? Only time will tell.

The concussion I believe is part of an angle, but Michaels has been suffering from increasing pain in both of his knees for the past year or so. He is actually scheduled to go under the knife and have surgery to relieve some of the pain in the near future.
As for Michaels himself, I have been very critical of him lately. I thought that he was fading and didn't deserve the top billing anymore. That all being said, knowing about his injury and the effect he had on the main event status in the WWE... he definitely was one of the best guys backstage. We know he wasn't too keen on the reuniting of DX, and that he's been fighting the pain, but he performed through it because of the injury to Triple H and the need for a long program with John Cena.
We'll see... he might be able to come back. I think the doctors and the WWE staff will have a better idea on whether or not he'll be able to come back.

I haven't heard any news about Judgement day yet. I never really cared for shawn micheals, even when I watched as a kid. As a person I'm sure he's a nice guy,but he's always seemed to play a jerk character when wrestling. Wrestling is scripted, but the work they put into it and most of the injuries are not fake. I think shawn micheals is getting a little up here to be wrestling.

I like Shawn Michaels a lot! Howeve, I have thought since the injury to Triple H that Shawn might end up injured in order to repair some of the back and knee damage that he has suffered. Not all of the WWe injuries are scripted. Sometimes life takes a toll on it and sometimes things happen that just aren't supposed too. I don't think that Shawn was meant to have a concussion after last night but I believe that this was a true injury. I wish him the best and I hope that we will see him soon!! God Bless You Shawn!!
