Ever find yourself having kid brain? I know when I was pregnant I heard about baby brain. How you get forgetful and stuff like that. But I am a stay at home mother of 3 boys ages 6, 4, and 1. I don't speak down to them or anything. I just talk to them normal, but break things down for them so they can understand. But funny enough when we run into people as in adult people, I find it really hard to switch off the kid brain. Does anyone understand me or have any experiences like this they want to share?

I understand completely! I sometimes fumble what I'm trying to say because I'm actually talking to an adult! I don't do babytalk or anything, but my conversations with my toddler are pretty simple. It sometimes takes me a few seconds to seem somewhat intelligent to others lol.

I understand you 150% toe_ster. :) I am so looking forward to summer break, and the kids spending at least a week with gramma and grampa so my head can get back to grown-up talk. LOL!
I have found that mylot has helped a little with the grown-up brain. I can get involved in discussions, and makes me think again. Oh, how I miss thinking. It's a wonderful refresher course on how to be a grown-up. Sounds like a commercial, don't I? LOL!

I just signed up for mylot 2 days ago and I have found the same thing out. It is very nice tohave adult conversation even on the net. And to find something that makes you have to think past a (in my case) a 6 year old capacity is great. I miss thinking too. Thanks for responding
