If an angel came by and said to you.."God has asked me to come by and tell you ..you have 5 minutes to make one wish and it will be granted to you..you cannot change the wish once it's made.." What would you wish for?
Would you wish to be rich..or wish to have many friends?
I would wish that love rule over every heart so that men and women would stop killing one another..this would be my wish..

Yes but I think they lead one into the other..if eveyone had love ..there would be no more pain ..don't you think..at least everyone would work together so that if someone is in pain..Others would try to help them rather then pour salt in their wounds;)+

I think I would have answered such a question very differently 5 years ago, 10 years ago. . .
. . and perhaps I'll answer differently 10 years from now.. .
But I do believe I agree with you. Love is everything. If we really loved each other, we would take care of our neighbors who are ill, infirm. We would help those who are unemployed and laid off. We would look out for each other's children. This list of what it would be like would start in our home, go out to the neighborhood and, eventually, out to the world.
So. . .your user ID. . .I suppose you are Third Order???

I couldn't agree more..with your wish and so have awarded your answer the "best answer"..Love is the greatest of all gifts..it is the reason for our being and the only answer to all life's problems..where there is no love...there is war, fighting, disagreements and unhappiness..Where there is love..there is God, peace, happiness, unity and all virtue;)+

i would wish for a better life for my family, and wish that my mom will have a good health. i might be thinking for my self alone but i will not wish for friends, as many people have let me down in the past. i will just stick with my family and make them feel secured.

Well..I agree somewhat..but you can love someone who is not a friend..Love is not limited to some merely physical or emotional feeling type of thing..It can reach across oceans and cultures..So love preceeds friendships..in my eyes....People miles and miles away can experience my love through a simple prayer and yet not ever meet or speak with me;)+

I would wish that was well if i had 2 wishes..but i will go with my instincts for this one..I wish that Skylar makes wise choices in life..and not follow what i did..granted I turned out pretty ok..now..but i have such a horrible past..i made some very bad choices,and learned my lessons well..hell im still paying for one major badddd choice to this day..but at the same time it was a blessing..long story..lol..i just want the best for him and for him to have a happy life..and i dont want stupid choices making it ruin his life..but ya know what? even if i wished that i wouldnt get it..The whole free will deal kicks in..but its nice to dream huh?

You know..many a holy soul..can say the same thing you have cloud..it's not the making of mistakes that is so bad ..it's the not getting up and doing better that is bad..Sometimes our mistakes ..and all of us have made them..serve to make us humble..only when we are humble can we realize how much we need God and how much we are not without Him..
God is lvoign and you know He will probably grant you this wish as long as you keep asking wtih faith:)+

I would wish to have many friends as having many friends is more important than having a lot of money. Money is a material object that can be replaced but you can not just replace your friends. Having friends is much more meaningful and special. We all need friends to get by in life. Having a lot of money would be a bonus but having friends is more important. I too wish that people would stop killing each other, especially the innocent people. I wish there was no violence in the world.
