If you don't want to know what I think then Don't Ask

It is really getting irritating when people start discussions asking you what you think of something and then when you give your opinion they get snotty with you. If you only want people to respond to your discussions that agree with you then post that in the header. I have noticed that people can say anything in a discussion and there will be people who will agree with them no matter what it is. It is ridiculous. Do people not have minds of their own anymore. I'm talking about serious things to. A lady sees a child that she thinks is being abused, comes home sits down on my lot and asks people what she should have done. There were only a few people that had the guts to tell the lady what a egg head she is. Get real, if you want to discuss something then discuss it. Don't expect everyone to agree with you.

I think people are scared to disagree because they will get a = and it will lower their rating. It really is unfortunate that this what we have come to. We are are more worried about a star rating then expressing our thoughts.

I agree with some and then I disagree with the other half. Friend or not, if I disagree, I disagree. myLot is for opinions and advice and if they don't like what they get, then they shouldn't post. I'm sure me and you disagree on things, but that is my opinion and your opinion. I don't expect everyone to agree with me. I want honest views on things and I will also give my honest views on things in return. I always welcome anyone to my discussions. I have a few people that are always disagreeing with something I write, but that doesn't bother me. I even sometimes agree with these people that disagree with me, I mean I agree with their posts on their own discussions even though they might disagree with mine. I think I'm done now... :) You get my point...

Yes I think I understand what you are saying and I agree (I think). lol. I have a friend who I referred and we dont agree on most things. But there are people on here that will agree with everythng people say just to keep them happy. That gripes me. That is not a discussion. Thank you for taking the time to comment.

Don't I know it! GAWD! Gads, I write an innocent thing in response to a post, I'm sweet and understanding then I get LAMBASTED because I do not agree with the original post. But at least we then know that we are dealing with a control freaker. RIGHT? Well, some don't like name calling...AND LOOK YOU said someone is an egghead. Wow!!! bad marks for you. I have written, basically, this same thing...and the control freakers have a punching good time with me. Hey! I understand most are LIBERALS though. They can't stand FREE SPEECH.

You like to throw that name around. LIBERAL...LIBERAL. Yes I know how sweet your remarks are. I almost fell out of my chair with that remark. Sweet remarks is not how I would describe them. But I dont expect sweet remarks. I just want honest people who give their honest view or what they believe. I know you always say what you mean. But sweet ??? I dont think so.

I definitely hear what you are saying. I mean if it's something like that, then the person should have enough common sense to know she needs to report it. Not reporting it makes her just as guilty as the person abusing the the poor kid. Child abuse is very serious. You shouldn't be coming online to see what others think you should do and whether you should report it. It's completely different if she wants to come on here and explain the situation and then talk about how good she feels about reporting it and that she does not tolerate it. I try to be nice to everyone who responds. Sometimes it really irks me when the person doesn't give a proper answer...and by proper I do not mean an answer that I want to hear. I mean that they should answer the question or respond to the discussion I've made with something relevant. People who respond with something way off in left-field really annoys me. If you can't write about what I'm talking about then why respond? So in that case I try to not say anything and just mark them with a negative if it was that poor of a response. I try not to be rude. And I definitely do not expect everyone to agree with me on things. =) What fun would that be?

Common sense is the key word here. Some people just dont see to have any. I know what you mean about people who comment with stupid comments that have no relevance to the discussion. Then these people are wondering why they are losing points. Thank you for taking the time to comment.

That's a very good explaination for it, common sense. I honestly think that some people respond just to try to up their number up and to try to earn more money. What they don't realize is that they may not get paid for it if it's not relevant to the discussion.

Here we go. Another person asking about whether a neighbor letting a one year old playing in the street and the mother being outside warrants a call to the authorities. Common sense to me what the answer is.
