I was into Nursing for 15 yrs. I wasn'nt a Nurse I was like a Private Nurse, or Nursing Asst. I did that job for about 15 yrs. I really got tired of it, and I guess I hated it from during it so long. I know there are some jobs you hated in life, so what were they? It is jobs right now that some may hate but don't have a choice but to stay, untill they can find something better, am I right? Have a good one! Marcie.

I was a sales assistant in the uk for 10 years. It was my first job and by far the worst thing i have ever done. The general public here are extremely rude and tend to look down on shop assisstants, then expect good service. I know how to get excellent service, change your attitude
blessed be

Housekeeping and Telemarketing are two jobs I hated the most. When I did housekeeping cleaning motels I would find disgusting mess that made a sista loose her appetite and telemarketing made my head hurt from doing all that talking and getting cussed out almost everyday. Now I am doing a job I love been in this field 41/2 years now and thats working with mentally challenged adults.I love it and wouldn't give it up for nothing.

Well, isn't that something, I used to have a job like that working for the County. It was a challege, I kind of liked it. but You never knew what some of those clients would do, I have got hit in the stomach, kicked, one run out of building and I didn't know were he was because I had 35 of then to deal with by myself. I was a Adult Program Specialist, that was My title, I have been doing that work off and on. I now am working with with 16 yr.old kid. go to chadsdog.com I am working with this kid, He is a dosy sometimes, but he is sweet in his own way. I work part-time with him. It is a nice feeling knowing that you can help some one. and teach them daily living. You have a good day! thanks Marcie.

Well Marcie, there are two types of people in this world who treat their job typically. Type one people consider their job as a source of earning the bread and butter for them and type two people enjoy their work and would get work satisfaction. I fall in the second category. I do my job sincerely and I get work satisfaction.
You have been working since 15 years and rendering your services for the people who require it the most. So keep doing. Remember joy is found not finishing an activity but by doing it.
Adopt a positive outlook !!
All the best !!!

File clerk or receptionist, I am a fast typist, my Mother made me take 4 years of typing in high school and I also had to take it in summer school, she did not want me to lose it and I also took it my freshman year in college, I can type probably 100 wpm and I have taken jobs as a file clerk and receptionist just til I could get something better, I hate to file, more than anything, I do it well, with 20 years legal experience, but I hate it is a pain and I hope to never have to work like that again.

The job that I always hated was working in the meat market.
I loved the work, I just couldn't stand my boss. He acted like he was a God or something. I hated being poor. I couldn't tell him to shove the job because it was me supporting Emily. Thank God, I found another job after a few months.

I was a personnel assistant at this place and there was too much stress. I was doing payroll by myself for 600 employees for around 3-4 months. Then they hired someone to help me, at the beginning we would get along real well, but after a while we had some disagreements and didn't work peacefully as before. I would drag to work and hated to be there. After a year I quit my job and moved to another place.

I used to be responsible to keep a soccer club house clean and tidy. It was an awful job! Soccer players are not tidy! To make it worse some soldiers that were stationed near by used to host parties there as well. Not fun at all. Even if they were to clean up after themselved it was a nightmare for me every time they had been there - soldiers do not make the best guests, believe me.

This is a toss up, I worked in a warehouse doing work orders which was grueling and dirty, and I also worked in a Nursing Home as a Certified Nurse's Assistant, which was grueling and dirty and a really thankless job.
I can't decide which one was worse.

My current job is teaching and I have been doing it for 25 years. I still enjoy it! Actually, as I think through the jobs I did while in high school and college none of them were that bad. My worst job probably was one year in between teaching jobs. I worked at a publishing company doing proofreading. If I never have to proofread anything again I will be happy. Most of the people in the department really liked it but it was too tense for me. My boss made every proofreader take a break every hour. Other departments only had a break at 10 am and 3 pm. That is how tedious proofreading is on the body, especially the eyes. I know it doesn't sound too bad but it is the one job I have had that I liked the least.

I had a job that I loved but hated at the same time. I too was a nurses aide and I worked in a nursing home. I loved helping the older people but I hated the fact that I couldn't spend more time with them. And the supervisors were all stuck up little witches.

It also is back breaking work and your not appreciated or paid enough to be basically a modern day maid. Lol!
