Now those are the kind of surprises I can live without.
She went to the bathroom and after coming out stil had a belly ache so went back and gave birth to a baby unexpected.

Imaging telling your husband you had to go potty and emerge a little while later with a baby in your arms lol.

Wow! And she was taking birth control the entire time!!! I sure hope that baby is okay! Just think of it this way, I guess it was meant to be.
I can't imagine being pregnant and not knowing it. Especially since she had be pregnant 3 times before...you would think she would know that there was a baby in there. And what of a belly??? Do these women that don't know they are pregnant get blessed with not having a beach ball belly that I had each and every time?
Trust me! There was no mistake that there was a baby in my belly! Some people thought I had a couple in there! ha ha

I really find this very hard to believe since I have given birth to 2 children already. Even after 1 week of conception, I could already sense the changes in my body. However, it may also be possible that she didn't notice the changes because of the pills that she is taking which may have direct effects on her body and pregnancy. I still find this really quite out of the ordinary. I guess a lot things in this world still happens that are just so hard to believe or explain.

I agree that I could do without that surprise as well!
My son's girlfriend found out she was pregnant when she was 7 months along. She is a fairly chunky little thing. She didn't have normal periods, but she thought it was from the medication she was on.

I totally had not heard about that first story...but years ago, I heard of this woman who lived in Texas, who was taking a bath, cause she had a backache, and suddenly felt this urge to push, and she stood up and this baby came out of her into the tub of water. And, was totally normal and all. That was shocking...course she thought she was barren so guess she wasn't using birth control with her hubby. That has to be one of my all time night mares, that I'll be pregnant and not know until too late to get vitamins or proper medical care. I was just wondering the other day how women in pioneer days knew they were first pregnant. Just figured it was the lump in the stomach that told them.

Isn't that the truth, though! I mean, no television. No Internet. Nothing to plug your brain into to escape reality. For me, I knew almost the instant it happened. I know that sounds like bragging, but it's not. I just felt it. And, it was ironic timing, cause I had just bought an ovulation testing kit and never got the chance to use it. Guess I didn't need it after all.

That is totally crazy. Everytime I hear a story like this it makes me scratch my head in amazement. My three children were so active before they were born you could actually see my tummy moving from across the room. I am not saying it couldn't happen, but I just can't imagine it.

I have a really hard time believing that. Her periods were normal? Her abdomen didn't grow? She didn't feel the baby kick? It is just really hard for me to believe that there were no signs. I just think she ignored them. I could be wrong but that is still what I think.

I DO believe it is possible to go half way through a preganancy without knowing. The baby doesn't really pick up weight until then.

It is not possible in the routine life but sometime God shows the miracles for giving the message of his presence. He has control over all the Universe and its system including Human Being. He can change anything in anyway.

A few years back we had a little girl start at the daycare I was working at. Her mother didn't know she was pregnant with her. The mom was somewhat overweight and didn't have too obvious symptoms I guess. She kept going to the doctor, and for some reason he wouldn't give her a pregnancy test. Finally she decided to take one on her own. She took it and it came up positive. So she made a dr appt. for monday, she went into labor sunday! The way my kids kicked the crap out of my stomach, I really don't know how she couldn't have known, but it happened. Of course, mine were nearly 9 lbs...hers was only like 5 or 6 lol

Hi there! That's really freaky. I mean some can become paranoid after reading this. I mean taking contraceptive pills and having your monthly period then suddenly, you gave birth? Kinda scary. Now how can we be so sure? Funny news. I just can't imagine how the husband and their relatives and friends looked after learning about the birth. Thank you very much for sharing this news with us.

I have heard a couple of such stories. It does amaze me too. So many changes takes place in a woman's body when she's pregnant. You can always feel the movement the baby in your tummy in the later stage of pregnancy. How can any woman miss all these sympotons

I have heard similar stories of woman not knowing they were pregnat and giving birth in the loo, but usually it is their first not 4th... hmmm strange, I wonder if the pill had any complications on the baby seeing as though she continued to take them???? Maybe that also made her continue to have her period???????
I knew a girl who didn't know till she was 22 weeks (5 1/2 moths)along....... Makes you wonder though how you could not know, and to have a surprise like that sprung on you.... wow......

Well I can't imagine not knowing you are pregnant for a whole 9 mos..I just find it so hard to figure how it can happen. But I know a person that did not know she was pregnant until she was in labor.
My friends sister had a baby and gained about 60 lbs during the pregnancy. So she had quite a bit of baby fat to lose, which was taking it's time. One morning she got up to get her 10mos old up. She got a twinge in her back and thought she move wrong. It got worse and worse until she couldn't stand it and it kept spasming. She called her mother to come over. Her mom called the doctor and he said to go to the emergency room. Well she had fallen a couple of days previous in the yard but didn't think she had hurt herself. They did an xray. The tech comes flying back in the room yelling "why did you tell me you were not pregnant" She had no idea what he was talking about. He showed her the xray to prove it too her...
Well the pain was labor and she was found to be almost ready to deliver when the doctor checked. She had had her period regular and had even lost some of the weight. She really had no idea she was pregnant. We asked her hundreds of times didn't you feel this or that or whatever.. the answer is always the same..she had no clue.

Wow that's really unbelievable! I just don't understand how a woman could not know she's pregnant. I mean it could be hard to tell at first without a doctor or a pregnancy test, but after the first 4 months you'd think she'd know something was up! I guess I'll have to read the article to find out the details.

Wow. That's so strange to me. I've never had a child, but I would expect that you would have some idea that you were pregnant.
