My new plan to get a ten star

Of course you deserve 10 stars, but the only way you will reach that is if you become boring and non controversal, only reply to discussions your best friends start, and start discussions that don't annoy anyone at all, refuse to reply to discussions where anyone could take offence at any of your replies, so that you will only be given a + rating (and no -ve ones). OR YOU COULD BE YOURSELF, the way the rest of us really want you to be, which could lead you to get a few - veratings. Its really your choice, but I know which kind of your discussions I would really like to respond to. Best of luck in your quest.

I have 9 stars, I'm glad to see the stars get up and up, but it doesn't move up when I have 9 stars. Do you think it is connected with the amount of discussions? I often give a long and useful response, but the stars still are 9. Frankly, I don't care much about it. I just want to know how does the star work. I hope you can make your wish(ten stars) come true. It is proud to have 10 stars, and you can also get more money from a response. Good luck. Do you have other good sites? How long have you joined here? Do you have referrals here? 996 is too much for me.

is this a permanent tatoo???it's wierd! hehe...Anyways I also working out on my 10 stars. I had 9 and then i went down to eight, i don't know why..then I posted a discussion that i was really dismayed of my 8 starts and it went back to 9...so everyday i'm checking if Im getting more and more reputations...hope we can get those blue stars...we should help each other.

Well I know the feeling Ive had this 9 red star forever and I cant seem to get a stupid blue star. It does bother me that I cant acheive this. But hey always have faith we will conquer it.LOL

If you really like the blue stars that much I will give you mine if mylot admin agrees :) I don't use it that much anymore lol

don't worry about the star , i have 9 and i start a thread when i really have something to say and i respond to discussion from my heart , still doesn't take responds to my discussion , only few friends who respond to me and i think they are the truly friends .

Is that a real permanent tattoo? Obviously I know the 10 isn't (I hope!!) That's a good place to have one actually but I'm sure it must have really hurt - mine hurt enough and that's just on my shoulder. To the main issue - I'm of the opinion now that most of the stuff that happens on here is just random anyway. I see crap people with 10 stars and really cool interesting people with 5 or 6 stars. I just think myLot make it up as they go along the same way that they seem to deal with most stuff. I honestly wouldn't take it personally. There could be some loony following you about it neg rating you but really there's not much you can do about it. Eventually you would think they'll get fed up and start following someone else around instead.

Its really confusing I see some members who are below 500 posts and yet having a ten blue star in ranking. I really don't know how mylot rate us, I just thankful that I have red 9 star and it stay with me for quite a long time. Personally I don't care if I never reach the 10th star as long as I would also not decrease my ranking from 9. Somehow it gives a little confidence and add some self esteem. Although I'm not bother if I don't have it, it would be nice also to have that. Well I just hope maybe in a long run I will also find myself having a blue 10th star.

This star thing is kind of silly in a way. I think it would be much better if they started everyone with a 10 rating, and it is yours to keep or loose. People might work harder to keep their ratings, especially if it means a few extra bucks along the way. Then again, it might backfire as some would get negative ratings for no good reason.

Well I have been a 10 for about 5 months now - but then I came here this morning and I've dropped at an 8!!! LOL! Must have had lots of Neg. reps from someone. As you can see I am really not so bothered by it. Until MyLot get rid of this daft system of negative repping people just because they disagree with your point of view, then such things will happen, and as I have no intention of keeping my mouth shut on topics that mean a lot to me, just to fit in with other people - I guess it will happen again. The view from "8" is cool anyway!!!

Don't make it so hard on you to make the ten star mission. You will see that sooner or later you will get the 10 star. That's what happens to me. I was not experting to have a blue star and then I saw it next to my name. And my saying that you want a blue star people can look at it and think "Ohh you want a blue star? then take this minus". So the best way is to keep this mission to yourself and one day you will see that you going to get the star. Sooner then you think.

Good luck on your campaign but at 1000+ posts it would be a bit hard. I've heard someone say that the ratings you get is somewhat proportionate to your posts...or something. Anyways, I also had that mission to reach a ten star and good thing I've reached that goal...though for how long, I don't know. Here's what I did, I've noticed that I've only been responding to discussions and there were no changes in my rating so I started posting my own discussions and after several days, I saw that elusive ten star. So just try posting quality discussions that everyone would respond to and you'll eventually get there. Good luck on your mission.

Don't worry about the color of your star so much as the posts that you post. When the color of your star begins to effect your earnings, then you should begin to worry. In an effort to help you out, I will rate some of your posts for you....good-luck.

hi killahclaire! I have bad news, my ratings went down to 8 now...i don't know why..from 88 points to 78...is mylot playing with us...i feel bad today...after aiming for 10...i dropped...I think i better aim for 1 star rating instead.

I like your tattoo. I wish you the best of luck on getting your 10 star here on MyLot, but I wouldn't worry about it too much. From what I have seen you start pretty good discussions and the like. There are a lot of people on here who will give you negative ratings for all the wrong reasons and there's not much that you can do about your star rating.
