Where did you meet your spouse?

I was two and he was three. Our parents were best friends, even though everyone moved away from each other we stayed in contact. We had a little fling when we were teenagers and when my husband and his mother came to my mom's wedding we got together again. I went to visit him and his mom for a few weeks and within two weeks he had asked me to marry him and we were married less than two months from then. Everyone said that it wouldn't work out and that we were moving to fast but here we are coming up on our 9 year anniversary and are more in love today than we have ever been. Other couples are often jealous of the relationship that we have and who could blame them? I mean how many married people do you know have pictures of them when they were five hugging each other? So, I guess in a way it was love at first sight and it must have been from the start.

I am still waiting. She hasn't enter my world as of yet.

Mine is not love marriage. It is arranged marriage. My parents selected the girl. I'm happy with my family life.

LOl i met mine in a bar and wasn,t looking at the time, I swore off men for good at the time too. I don,t know what it was but it wasn,t love at 1st sight, i agreed 2 go out for a drink with him n thought that b it but we couldn,t get each other out of our heads and that was 2 n a half years ago now i,m marrying the man! hes my soul mate! xx

We met online through ICQ, he sent me a random messege one night. We met in real life six so months or later...have been together since.

I met my husband in my very first college class. There was definate interest on my part. He didn't remember me from that class. We started dating 3 weeks later. We dated for 2 years and then were engaged for 2 years. We have been married for 15 years.

I met my partner at the London Paladium theatre. It was lust at first sight, although it took him 2 weeks to make a move. We have been together for 18 yrs, aahh!!

Well, we met online, so I'd say it was "love at first type" LOL Actually, he was in the Navy and had sporadic access to instant messaging. Because I use the internet for work, I had an IM program open and he sent me a random message. Funny thing was, I wasn't in the habit of accepting random messages... but his screen name made me laugh when I saw it and I looked at his profile. He said he was floating around on the water somewhere and could use someone to talk to. So, against my better judgement, we started chatting. Jump ahead almost 6 years from that night and here we are. We'll be celebrating our third wedding anniversary in early January ;)
