shouldnt he call

Your husband should call. You and your husband should discuss this and demand for common courtesy. That is also respect. You should let him know how you were feeling when he wasn't calling.

First of all he should call no question. The more important one is why didn't he pick up his cell phone. I know he could see it was you and would know you would have to be worried.

I think it's all about respect and responsibility. Looks like your husband is not responsible and does not respect you enough to have the decency to give you a call to let you know he's running late. My husband always calls. I never have to worry about where he is, who he's with, if he's going to be late, etc. He will call me even if he's on time and just leaving work. He just wants me to know he's on his way. I never have to ask him or question him.

Cos guys can be such inconsiderate idiots sometimes. Totally give him a piece of your mind when he appears but you know that of course he will say that he never thought and you are being unreasonable. Or maybe you should go out yourself and not come in til past midnight and that will teach him a lesson.

i think it is a guy thing. i use to go through this all the time with my husband. He would be hours late and just would not pick up the phone to let me know and when i would call his phone i would get no answer. it finally took me thinking that something was very wrong and getting all of our friends out looking for him. i was sure we would find his car in the ditch somewhere but no we passed him on the road coming home 4 hours late!! He never did that again now he always calls if he is going to be late!!

i don't know why he can't call. i think he should inform you if he would go home late (or not go home at all). i bet he would feel the same way if he was in your shoes.
