As the bible portrays Satan as a devil and a demon. Its all wrong satanism is not devil worship or against christ. It's about worshipping yourself. You'll start exploring your innerselves. You'll believe your confidence. You'll believe in yourself. You'll have a proper idea when you go through the satanism article in wikipedia. Long Live Satanism. Its better than atheism since u'll be worshipping youself. No God No Religion So No WARS...;-)

I'm not completely understanding what you're trying to say. If your attempting to explain the Bible as casting a bad light on Satanism, then you're wrong. The Bible and Christian concept of the devil had been established long before Satanism came into existence. From what I can tell, the founders of Satanism named it so to spite Christianity - this is especially the case with Anton Lavey.
Furthermore, one can be an athiest and Satanist at the same time. Satanists are concerned more about themselves then they are about Gods, and the only supernatural things some Satanists really believe in is a pre-Christian force...and not all Satanists believe in that.
Also, Satanism is a religion - so yeah, I don't know where you got that "Satanism isn't a religion" from. It's bad enough people aren't willing to recognize Wicca and pagan religions as real religions...claiming Satanism isn't a religion is just opening the door for further religious discrimination against Satanists.
Finally war also can occur regardless of religion...it has since the beginning of time.

Ash: Actually, I know what I know because I've researched the Church of Satan, as well as Anton LaVey's history. He had an incredible disliking of the Christian faith...the Church, in particular, and the CoS sounds more like an attempt to mock the Church - especially when you look at the last Satanic Statement. However, what's done is done, and Satanism is now considered by many to be a religion.
Galena: I also considered that as well - but then, there are multiple definitions of religion, and very few point to theism. Take Buddhism, for example - it's widely accepted as both a religion and philosophy, yet it's not really theistic. I guess your view on what is or isn't a religion depends on what your definition of the concept is.

one thing I disagree with is your "no wars" belief....wars arent caused by the religions themselves, they are caused by the extremists and even Satanism has those...
That being said...Satanism is really misunderstood which is unfortunate..I actually posted a couple threads on it if you want to check them out
