I am sure we have been hurt or cheated on in some parts of our lives, do you find it difficult to open up yourself to another person and trust them wholeheartedly again? How did you cope with the difficulty? And did he/ she fail your trust?

My answer is 'yes' to a certain extent. I'll be more cautious to those with similar characters and personalities. However, I would treat it as a lesson to think things deeper. Comparably speaking, we should treasure 'true love' and 'whole hearted' friendship much more. No matter how worse the situation was, I still think it's a good experience of life and equipped you to become stronger in the future.

No, I do not find it difficult to open up with my friends....once I have decided that a particular fellow is going to be my friend....I love to share all my thoughts with him/her. Trust is a relative term. It takes time...after interacting with each other....you start trusting each other...trust is built...brick by brick..trust cannot be gained in a day's time. Certainly, If I trust somebody and she/he cheats me...nothing would be worse than that.
