Here's another trip down memory lane...What cartoons did you like to watch as a kid? I grew up in the Looney Tunes years (maybe that's why I'm still looney..LOL)---I remember Sylvester and Tweetie Bird--"I thought I saw a putty cat"..Bugs Bunny...."Hey...doc"..Pepe Le Pu...Was also a fan of Tom and Jerry too...as much as I'm a cat lover I always loved how Jerry the mouse always outwitted Tom the cat...and yes...every once in awhile I'm still given to watching cartoons....
So what cartoons do you remember from your childhood??

When I was younger I loved watching Looney Tunes, Baby Looney Tunes, Care Bears, and for the life of me I can't think of the others that I liked to watch on Saturday mornings. It's been to long ago it seems..lol
If I don't have anything else to be getting done than I'll sit down and turn on the Cartoon Network and watch my fill of cartoons again. It's fun to do occasionally.

Sometimes I wonder why I even have it, the only time I really watch TV is when my husband is at home or I'm just really bored, but even than the TV isn't on very much, cause we are busy doing family things or I am working.

When I did used to have cable..don't ask what I was paying for it a month...a lot...I had a lot of the premium channels--but then it was like this is silly --like you I hardly watch TV--if I do, it's to put on one of my DVD movies..--still I do miss the Cartoon Network..oh, and VH-1

I remembered watching Felix the Cat, Looney Tunes, Popeye, Voltes V, Daimos, Bioman and many others. I still watch them on if I have the time and if they are still aired on television because it brings back fun childhood memories.

Now this was an easy question for me to answer. I loved and still love watching Scooby Doo:) I like the fact that I can watch it with my neice. I do enjoy Tom and Jerry as well, I've liked them ever since I saw them in Anchors Aweigh but for some reason Scooby will always be my favorite and one I'll still watch no matter what age I am.

Hehe I don't know but to me he's a classic. I do know though I've had that happen with things. I'll mention a list and forget ones I shouldn't have.

I was and I'm fun of cartoons.I loved watch as a kid and now as a grown up woman I watch them with my kid.I prefer the Disney cartoons than the new animations cartoons.they have too much violence for children.i love all those you add at your post and specially the Tom and Jerry.
Another one that I love to watch is Simpson's family .

I second the cartoons in this comment. I was number five of six kids. I was low man on the totem pole, and had to watch whatever was on. I think there was rainbow brite, fraggle rock, animaniacs, transformers, thundercats, strawberry shortcake, the list goes on and on... I don't catch any of those now. With three little boys in the house the disney cahnnel or nick jr. rules our house. Itried tointerest them in a few of these great classics and none of them stuck, GOOD TIMES!

One of my favorite cartoons had to be "Johnny Quest". I loved Rajjii and also Bandit. This was a cute cartoon. I also loved the Jetsons and still do. The Flintstones, still do. The original Superman & Batman cartoons from the 60's were great. Now the all time best cartoon I love best but isn't from when I was a and that's of course the primetime SIMPSONS. Musn't forget the old reliable LooneyToons either.
HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Oh man, when I was a child of the 1980's and 1990's, there were so many great (and I mean great) animated shows out there. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, 1990's Marvel Animated Series and DC Animated Series, Thundercats, Jem, Transformers, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, She-Ra, Darkwing Duck, The Tick, and The Original Power Rangers (not an Animated show, but still cool, it was Live-Action and the man who played Tommy was HOT!).

I loved the looney tunes as well. Bugs Bunny was a big fav, and Wyle E Coyote and the RoadRunner, Beep Beep. Hehe. If we actually had cable, then yes, I would watch them as they are shown pretty regularly on Boomerang.

I would rush home to watch Speed Racer! I had to get there first or my sister would be watching Zoom. I loved Speed, I still do. I had a Speed Racer lunchbox and my husband recently bought me a Speed Racer tee. It was a soap opera with high-tech, cool graphics and the sexy Racer X!.
I always loved the dialogue of Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck. Later, I was a big fan of the Animaniacs. I absolutely HATED Garfield Goose and the Sourpuss Kid from DJ and the Dirty Dragon. They creeped me out, as did Clutch Cargo. Remember HR Puffinstuff? Great theme song. Today, secretly, I really like the "Backyardigans". Luckily, I can use my granddaughter as an excuse to watch them. LOL
