mentality of college goers

I don't see where this would make them extravagant, as a matter of fact, a lot of people that don't go to college should have an attitude of being independent, because they are having trouble with their finances! I know that when you are going to college, you have to watch where every penny goes, and budget to make sure you are ready for any unseen expense that arises! You have to plan, ahead of time, because money has a way of running out real fast, and this is where a lot of people don't have any financial savvy,and their money worries overwhelm them! When you are independent, you are on your own,nobody else is going to take care of you,and you'll learn to be un-extravagant!
