i have created a blog. i want to know if someone could help me promote my blog to other friends. i am in search of a friend who is connected with huge number of people so that i can get traffic to my blog. if someone can help i would really appreciate it. also do you have some knowledge of search engine optimization. i have submitted by blog to a few search engine but i want that its url should appear in the first few pages of search engine and how do i select keywords for it

Have you submitted it to myLot yet? That is a good place to start.
Next, in order to get your page to move up in the search engines, your posts have to have "keyword rich" content.
Basically this means that each post should cover one main idea, and keywords related to that idea should appear throughout the post.
