Am I the only one hurt for the ouster of Melinda Doolittle?

Sorry for all passive Melinda Doolitle fans,considered the show's best ever singer was voted out last week. Am I the only one shocked or even hurt?

I'm sorry it just came up to my mind to ask this recent issue in American Idol. I just can't control my frustration.

I was alittle surprised that she was voted out. I think maybe the judges especially Simon saying all the time that she was the best might have hurt her. Might of made her fans feel it wasnt important to vote that she had it in the bag. Even though she didnt win she will still have a recording career now.
