How can I receive stars?

I have seen that few of the people have stars with their names. How do they get stars? Can I also get the stars. What does the stars means? How many points I require to have a star?

Once you hit 100 posts you will get a star. Your star # corresponds with how other myLot members rate you. Positive ratings, higher # star :).

Hi,you will also get star after reaching 100 mark.You will get your star after 22 posts.There are different kinds of stars,i mean different colours.I have red star with 9 as ranking.The ranking depends on how much you have got positive or negative ratings.However it will not affect your earnings.So try to post more 22 discussions and you will be with a star.:)

Ok. Thanks for the response and guiding me. Well as you said that rank is given after 22 discussions, does it means that they have to be in a single day?
