I'm the kind of person who can sleep ANYWHERE. And I mean, anywhere. My friends are always surprised how I managed to sleep at public transportations because they could never sleep when riding buses or trains.
Once, I think I even slept standing up in a crowded train. LOL. Could you sleep in public transportations?

I can also sleep at Car, Bus, Train etc but for few times only or during night hours. Usually day time I enjoy seeing the sight on the way through window. This keeps me updated about the terrain of visiting area. I cannot sleep even for few minutes in standing position in train etc. I need chair at least. It depends on how much we travel daily. If we have to travel daily in crowded bus or train then we have make a practice of so. We can mold/adjust our body as we want. This is amazing gift to us by God. We can adjust at any atmosphere/condition etc.

Natalie, it is very difficult for me to sleep in a public transport. I always feat if I go to sound sleep...I may miss my destination...so tension of not missing the destination...always keeps me awake.

LOL. Not for me, like I said, it seems automatic for me to wake up when my destination is getting nearer.

Nata, it seem that you have some automatic system in your body which sounds you before your destination comes and you appear to be genious.

It does not bother me to sleep in public transportation and I always fall asleep with no problems at all. Over the years I have traveled by plane, bus, and train. No matter what mode of transportation I have been on I have always fallen asleep once the thing takes off. Before I know it my eyes are closed and I am in dream land.

LOL. You and me both. Once the vehicle takes off, I just close my eyes and that's it. Once, I have this car pool and most of the people there commented that they never see me awake when traveling. LOL.

I couldn't sleep in a public place let alone a train. I would be to worried about what someone would try to do while I was sleeping. I am not a trusting type of person in this kind of situation. I have heard to many stories about what happens to other people to even chance it.

I am totally opposite. I can never sleep easily in a different place other than my bedroom, let alone in a public transportation. But I could if I would have to travel that would take really long, like in an airplane flying for several how many hours. And now that I think about it, I could sleep when really tired over at my desk in my small business. Oh, my gosh, sleeping standing up in a crowded train, this is the first time I heard that.LOL

I do, when I am in the bus, I choose to sit at the very back so that nobody can see your position if you sleep. :)

I find it easy for me to fall asleep while traveling on a bus or train. There are many times that I fell asleep in a bus till I got to the destination. There was even one time when I over passed my station where I was supposed to get off because of my falling asleep on the bus.

I hardly fall asleep when I'm taking public transport. However, I would fall asleep if I'm really really tired. I remember there is once I fall asleep when I take a train back home. I almost drool and I came to realise it when I wake up. It's so embarassing.

And people suddenly started woke me up when the stop came.

yup. haha. my cousins named me.. the sleep anywhere, sleep anytime person. when i feel sleepy, i sleep if there's a place to sleep to. or atleast be able to close my eyes.
i can sleep in jeepneys, buses, trains and expecially while travelling on a plane. people who know me are a bit envious at this talent of mine. they just find me so relaxed when travelling. and yup, i really feel stress free whenever i am able to sleep while in public transportations.

we share the same traits, i also sleep anywhere specially when im sooo tired. The last time i slept in a public transport (bus) i rode 11pm and woke up 7am. the driver of the bus didnt notice i was there.. its scary.. thats why i keep on my reliable watch with a good alarm for in case i sleep again. goodluck!

I am like you, I could sleep anywhere in any position, even standing up. I am just too afraid to sleep on public transportation, it seems dangerous to me. The only time I sleep on pub. trans. is on airplanes. Usually I barely make it to takeoff before I am sound asleep. There is no fear of missing my stop on a plane. The plane landing always wakes me up.

no. i don't really sleep on buses or any public transportation. i don't travel a long journey. mostly i just it's just a short travel and i don't need to sleep. here you don't usually for short travel. but in half day travel in buses in rural areas usually the people sleep through the travel. it's not easy to stay awake through that long travel.
