3-D Ultrasounds

I saw one of those one time...its the color ultrasounds, and I think its really neat. You can see the WHOLE BABY in color...personally, I think EVERY woman who's considering an abortion should have one of those at no charge to see the life she's contemplating giving up..If she has a conscience, she couldn't live with herself.

I had one done and it was amazing. The only problem is they wont do it for you until your about 24 weeks pregnant and by then its already too late for anyone to get an abortion so having a 3d wont do much.

I know what you mean. I really really wish people didn't abort. In all honesty, before I was pregnant was strongly against abortion but when I found out the thought came in my head. I could never bring myself to do it but I am saddened by those who do do it as well. :( There are even worse stories then that too. Like the lady who just shot herself in the stomach at 9months pregnant to kill her baby.

I didn't know that. Thanks for the info. I just wish there was some way for the mothers to see the babies they're carrying so they could really understand the impact of what they're considering.

That's a great idea!!! These came out right after my last child was born. I wish I could have had one. Even the old ones were great!

I think the color pictures would be so much more effective because you can see a baby; in the black and white ones, all you see is a gray shadow. For some reason, if I was ever pregnant and didn't want a baby, I couldn't do away with it after seeing it so clearly. I wish there was some way to get that law passed *sigh*

I agree...its tragic. Its sad to think of all the abortions that took place, say 18 or 20 years ago. Those children would be grown by now, but they never got the chance. Our population would be higher if some people would just REALLY think about things before they did it.

I have seen those, they are so neat! They came out right after I had my son so I didn't get to use one, maybe next time. But no, I don't think women should be forced to have one if they are getting an abortion. There are many things to consider when debating abortion, it could possibly cause further trauma. What if the woman were violently raped? If she chooses abortion that is her decision and she has every right to it, I don't think forcing her to see the baby on top of trying to convince her to live the next nine months with that constant painful reminder of her attack would be healthy.

i really wish that there was some way to show some one contemplating abortion a sweet newborn baby & let them know that is what they are killing, not what the abortionist say, just a ball of tissue, b/c a baby is a baby at conception it has a soul & is alive, after seeing the baby i wish that they could talk to a couple on an adoption waiting list......

I agree with you on the abortion side of it :)
I think that 3D ultrasounds are cool. I wish I had the money to get one done, that'd be awesome. Instead i'm stuck with the normal kind. LOL

Unfortunately, that wasn't available when I had my babies. I wish is had been! Would have been so neat!

If a woman is considering abortion, she would probably be in the first trimester, and there isn't much to see anyway. But if there was, it would be a good idea. But if someone doesn't want a baby or pregnancy for that matter, then not very much can change it.
