I think We lost because we used the same formation as Chelsea and they cancelled each other up. It would have been much better if C.Ronaldo would play in midfield, because you could see that he was subdued in the match and hardly played any major part it in. Also, there was a huge hole in our defence because Gary Neville wasn't there.
Oh well, at least we got teh EPL.

we lost cause we played like chelsea 4-5-1
most suitable formation for us is 4-4-2
i think if smudge and rooney wud have played up front we cud have one
but fergie deployed dat formation cause he has a fear we will be outplayed by chelsea in midfield
and our most of players are injured

Ferguson cost us the FA Cup and the Champions Leag
well i have just about had enough of Mr. Ferguson and his tactics away from Old Trafford...i dont know if he ever learns or is it that Quieroz guy running the show???
every time United have strung five across the midfield (played with five midfielders that is), the play has been terrible and...e.g the CL game against Celtic, away to Arsenal and so many in the premiership, and most importantly at that disastrous day at San Siro against AC Milan and the latest at Wembley against Chelsea...have just about lost every match...
this is a negative tactic and United are above it and United fans deserve better...
another negative tactic that come with this style of play is the LONG BALL towards the opposition penalty area... and it has picked up for the last few games of the premiership....most notably since that night at the San Siro...(i just can't believe he didn't bring a striker on when needing GOALS)
i dont know why Ferguson would use these kind of tactics when the United players can PASS the opposition into SUBMISSION...
i think sometimes or most of the times now a days, Ferguson has the FEAR of losing the game and when things are not going his way he also very fearful of making any changes....he clearly thinks that the opposition will attack and the only way to deal wiht it is to have packed midfield...the only thing it PACKS is creative playmaking... the game yesterday was the biggest example of non creative football...
