who among you don't eat vegetables and fruits?

i have a friend who doesn't eat any vegetable or fruit eversince.. i just don't know why he doesn't while in fact we can get a lot of nutrients in this kind of food. he just eats meat and bread and pasta with no veggies and fruits at all. that is why if you'll take a look at him, it shows that he's lack of nutrients in his body.. he's so thin. i can't imagine how he live like that without taking any nutritious food in his body.. until now, i'm encouraging him to taste this foods but he always answers.. NO!

What!? no way that is so not true where did you learn that? No one who eats only meat can be healthy simply because meat does not provide the nutrients needed for any human regardless of blood type to be healthy.

I think Akeela is referring to the "Blood Type Diet" which is really not scientifically proven. Basically, it says that your blood type is indicative of the diet that your ancient ancestors ate and that you will do better to follow that diet.
But, it didn't say that you could strictly eat only meat or only vegetables, it just says that your body processes certain foods better and that certain blood types do better with more meat or vegetables. I am not sure if I agree with that.

I not saying meat but they do eat rice and peas and they are healthy, play active sports the most fruit is in juice and not often. And I have I read a book about it and it's working out for the best because im A negative, lactose intolerant and when i did the diet i have less mucous build up...

I am actually th opposite. I don't eat meat at all, this is not because i feel sorry for the animals( or course a bit but that is not the reason) but because meat is not healthy at all!!! the nutrients in the meat have been used by that animal and where did that animal eat from? the plants. so why not get the nutrients straight from the source than from an animal where the nutrients have been used. By the way when you eat meat it sometimes stays in your intestine long enough to rot!!! there a million reasons not to eat meat and eat vegetables and fruits instead. I could go on forever like this. Anyway look at our intestines, they are very long like any other plant eater as the intestines of a wolf or other carnivore, they are relatively short. Also look at our teeth, they are similar to that of a plant eater and nothing like a bear (omnivore) or any carnivore.

so, you're a vegetarian. but, don't say that meat is not healthy at all.. because we also need meat in order to complete the vitamins and proteins we need. there are vitamins in meat that we can't get in veggies and vice versa.. that's why we both have to in take meat and vegetables and fruits.

Sorry but your wrong. You can get every single nutrient you need from plants as long as you eat a wide variety. Think of it in this way, the cow you eat is getting its nutrients from plants so why not get the nutrients from the source. Also do you know how much junk is left to rot in your intestine from eating meat. I would send you pictures but I dont want to gross you out too much.

I'm 20 now... i've had problems eating veggies for as long as I could remember... I just can'r explain why.... vegetables taste so strange in my mouth... well, to cut the story short, I just started to eat veggies one day... but not a whole bunch.. just a tiny itsy bitsy piece which i cleverly disguised inside a whole fistful of rice and chicken meat.. well, what can i say.. i didn't even taste the veggie!!! so, as time went by, the veggie pieces grew larger and larger... until one day, i could eat a whole lettuce leaf without 'hiding' it in any other food... there you have it... i can now officially declare myself a veggie eater... hahaha!!! but my mission's not over yet... there are still some veggies that i can't stand... such as onions and bean sprouts... cheers people...

good for you! we got something in common... hehehehe.. i also just started eating veggies when i get matured. i'm 27 now and already love eating veggies.. i also started eating a tiny piece till i finally liked the taste..and now, i'm already enjoying eating veggies and that's what my called MIRACLE! hahaha...

Wow that sounds exactly like me I do not eat any fruits or vegis. I do not like them. I eat some meat but not very much. I am healthy and I am 26 years old. People here at work make fun of me because of it. They try to get me to try new things but I also tell them No. I am stuck in my ways. I am a weird eater anyways. Hamburger is plan. Taco's are meat only. Mozzerrella sticks I eat just the breading not the cheese. Subway sandwich just turkey and bread. Everyone tells me that I am weird. Thats ok. I have had two children so by no mean am I tiny but I'm not bad. I fix fruits and vegi's for my children and they love them. I don't know why I just can't stomach them.

i love to eat vegetables and fruits! i mean they are the best food and the most packed with nutrients. If you like to help your friend, you must take it one step at a time, let him taste vegies and fruits one at a time.. and with your help persuade him to finish it in a good way. Goodluck!

yeah right! i'm not just the one trying to help him.. but all of us, his friends but it all end up with his NO.. well, at least we've tried maybe some time in the future, he'll going to love eating fruits and veggies... thanks for the advice..

It is a well known fact that our body is designed to digest frutis vegetable s and nuts basically.if meat is our food why the doctors suggest ust o take vegetables at the time of diseases like diabetics,heartdeseas,B.P.we are herbivourous animals .if he doesn t take veg he is going to have adversee effects surely.in fact it is not easy to change one's food habbits if one is getting addicted to this .meat and fish thinkgs like this induce passion in our mind and grwon negative qualities look at a tiger in the forest .he is so violent but if you look at a deer or cow how calm and queit they are .all our character depends upon what we eat.

Your friend must be young because I used to be able to do that when I was young. Now, I would get very sick on a diet with no fruits or vegetables. I have a hard time with bread and pasta and even too much protein.
I eat, almost exclusively, whole foods with a little bit of candy and ice cream thrown in. If I don't eat that way, I get horrible headaches and other problems.

no, he's already 23 and until now, he really hates veggies and fruits.. is there any explanation in his case. he only likes bread, pasta and sometimes, he also doesn't want eating fish.. he's some kind of weird!

I don't eat fruits at all. I don't like them. But I will eat some vegetables,not many but there are a few I like. I will drink fruit juice. Maybe your friend should take vitamins to help.

I love fruits and vegetables. infact i would say that everyone should make a habbit of eating them.
fruits and vegetables a re an important part of a well balanced diet. they provide fibre and some vitamins and minerals essential to good health.
fruit contain carbohydrate and a small amount of protein , but very little, if any, FAT.
Fruits have the distinction of being called nature's own dessert. eating vegeatbles and fruits is a very good way to add dietery fibre too.

To be honest,I seldom eat fruits.I don't like fruits at all.I would rather to take poison than to eat fruits,especially cherry.That's awful!!!
I know eating less fruits wasn't beneficial to our health but.....it's hard for me to "enjoy" fruits.My mother forces me to eat fruits and I just think this as a "task".

Yup, I compeltely agree with you, cos Fruits are the best source of not just nutrients, but also vitamins, proteins, and minerals which are quite essenial for the development of a person, both mentally and physically. Infact I also heard that many daily ailments like fever, cold etc can be avoided if we have a good in-take of fruits & vegetables.

Well I do eat alittle meat, but I love fruits and vegtables.We must eat fruit and vegtables to be healthy and to eat a balanced diet. I love all kinds of fruit my favorite are watermelon,grapes,cherrys,oranges,bananas,apples,peaches,pears,strawberrys.And I like all sorts of vegtables,tomatoes,greens,cabbage,squash,pototaes,peas,corn,green beans,peas,brussel sprouts,carrotsec.
