Marimar, Philippine Version?!?

well well.. i heard some buzz from friends that gma will be doing a remake of marimar, famous telenovela in the late 90s starring thalia... and guess what, angel locsin will be marimar! thats according to my sources... ;)
hmmmm what the heck! oh well lets just see if they can match the popularity of the original show when it was aired in rpn.. theyre done with telenovelas, koreanovelas, fantaserye and now remakings of telenovela... what's next?

that is true... the writers have the tendency to extend the storyline to fit a certain number of episodes since movies only run for 1 hour or two. they add more characters which makes the story complicated and sometimes does not sustain the true substance of the story.
meanwhile, kudos for the special effects and computer graphics. it has contributed a lot to the success of shows and not only that, they were able to go beyond their imagination and make everything possible using the special effects. although i must say, we still have much to learn to make our effects as magnificent as that of Hollywood (not forgetting expensive).
