Eldest closest to their father

Is it true that most of the eldest child especially the eldest daughter is much closer to their father that sometimes they are called as daddy's girl. In my case i am because towards my dad i can tell everything and open up to him. But maybe that's why it is like that because you are the first child and especially a daughter that's why he is so protective and caring to you.

I am not sure if it's the eldest. I am the only girl and the youngest. I think it has a lot to do with being a girl and the affection and trust that builds between a daughter and a father. My father and I are very close I tell him everything and he never judges me sometimes he gives me advice but mostly he always reminds me that everything comes at a consquence. I just wished more children had this. There seems to be so many parents out there that don't have time for there children anymore.
