Rick Adelman is new head coach

Rick Adelman, the former coach of the Sacramento Kings when they had a rivalry with the Lakers has just been named the new head coach of the Houston Rockets. How does this affect the team? Will this equate to playoff progress knowing that Adelman has been successful in the past in guiding his teams through the playoffs? How do you think will T-Mac and Yao respond?

If adelman makes tre right moves in the offseason by making trades and signing the right guys, Tmac might be looking at finally a winning playoff series. Let's all hope adelman can bring the rockets far into the playoffs

I stand corrected but to me anybody aside from Yao, Tmac, and Shane is tradable and will not be a loss to the team. I really thought David Wesey should have stayed. Anyway, a Bobby Jackson, or a Jamaal Tinsley could give the Rockets some speed and penetrator in the middle, at 2-spot maybe a Mike Miller or Szerbiak who is more reliable a shooter. (Kirk Snyder may fit this role should he have more minutes). at 4-spot maybe a Kurt Thomas-like player to help in the middle, David West or a magloire to help rebound when Yao is on the offensive, and help defend when yao is forced outside... again, i stand to be corrected but this is what I see. comments...

...I am still crying about game 7. Really, tears are rolling down my face and it has been nearly 2 weeks. I just saw the most potential the Rockets will see in probably 10 mores years get stopped by a team that still wears diapers. Adleman will probably be a good coach... I love Van Gundy... I used to hate him until he came here. He stuck up for his team, he went out of his way to help team morale by setting up the red rowdies, and was in most pressure situations a damn fine coach. I liked everyone on this years roster...and i havn't liked a team like that since the 94 team......I feel like T-mac in that last interview......d.....

Well .In my opinion ,i think the new coach will be a great help to the Rockets .We all know the Rick Adelman is well-known for his offense,which is what the former coach-Jeff Van Gundy lack .
May the Rockets will go further and further in the playoffs next season ,and finally get the final championship...

what a pity that Rockets were beaten in the final!Many people doubt the coach's wisdom at that time.....bad fortune or other reasons?T-Mac and Yao's tears told us they were gloomy.and they are early to win......
what will Adelman take for them?what's the fortune of the Rockets in the new senson?anyway,good luck for them......
