How often do you confess your sins?

To be honest, I can barely remember when. I think it was when we go for a religious retreat to unwind, focus and reflect on ourselves. Though I don't usually do confessions to a priest regularly in a church, I do pray to God every night to forgive me for the wrongdoings I've done. Some of them, which are usually repeated though I don't intend to. But I'm serious when it comes to praying each night. You? How frequent do you confess and admit to a priest that you have sinned? Or do you just pray directly to God like me and does occasional confessions when there is opportunity and time?

i'm a Roman Catholic and i don't confess to the priest :D hehehe.. i don't believe that you have to confess to the priest for you to be forgiven.. that's one of the Catholic teachings i contrast.. when i confess my sins, i write a letter to the Lord, and for pardon on my sins co'z i can better express myself through letter.. actually, i pray through writing :D then i keep my writings :D

Yeah, me either. I don't usually confess to priests because I am shy to talk about it. And I also feel my sin is very personal and no one has to hear that except God. I wrote God a letter at one point in my life, and I had kept it in my drawer ever since. I think He had heard me anyway. And I also keep in habit to pray daily to Him at night - no matter how busy I am.

Never... I don't think that I sin... But then again I'm not a catholic, so I don't have to worry about sins ;-)

I wholeheartedly respect your opinion, but I do think that even a person has no religion or is not Catholic, norms of conduct and abiding by the law must be followed. But if you're a good person, then I don't have to worry. Hehehe.

I haven't gone to confession since I had my first communion. The one and only time I confessed.

I really thought the last time I would confess is the only time I had confession! Good thing we have recollection trips where there is on-the-spot communion.

Well..it probably doesn't help that I don't believe in the concept of sin. I believe we can do good and bad things..but I don't believe in damnation or sin..at least not in the ways they're commonly thought of. I confessed once, when I was confused about what I was to believe faith-wise..and haven't ever since.
