Why does people get tired of mylot and how to fight it?

I think alot of people get tired of Mylot because they are losing points and earnings with no explanation for it. I get bored sometimes with Mylot because I am spending alot of time trying to find good discussions to respond to or realte with more than I am being productive here. There are alot of silly discussions which do not make any sense at all. I know alot of members have been harrassed by other members and those members decide to leave because they do not want to take it any more.

pushing ourselves back in is an effort that is not really hard to do. The question is: Do we still have the same interest that we had when we started it here at mylot. Like me for example, I was away for a month because of the campaign trail of my friend. my time was preoccupied by this activity. But now that the election is over, here I am again, writing and responding with full interest to this site. The more I was inspired when I discovered that many of my responses were marked as "BEST". Therefore, getting back to mylot depends on the level of interest that the mylotter has.

I often find it hard to keep motived when my earnings are low. If I'm getting close to the $10 limit I'm a lot more motived. Right now I'm only 85 cents away from pay out so I post a lot :-)
