I'm a newbie here and I've been seeing a lot of complaints concerning discussions being "stolen" or "copied".. How does this happen? Can you please explain as I wouldn't wanna be one of those found guilty! And if it does happen, what are we supposed to do?? Can this effect our earnings? Newbie here needs answers.. Thanks~!

there are some dishonest people here on mylot, believe it or not, lol. They cant be bothered working out discussions for themselves, so what they do instead is copy a discussion of someone elses and post it again but this time in their own name.
Dont do it, mylot ban people for it
blessed be

It is basically when someone copies the discussion of someone else and following pastes it in starting a new discussion like it's theirs. Those topics can get deleted along with the responses given to it making it affect the earnings as well when that deletion happens.

Thanks!! Now I understand! So these people are basically copycatters!! I hate copycats! And they get all the credit for what WE do!! That's just not right! I can understand if it's a coincidence but to copy word for word..well there's must be something that we can do about it, can't we? Oh well, thanks for the explanation!
