There is this contest for 1,000 dollars and its a crossdressing contest, well my boyfriend is the only one working, so we only have his income, and he thinks it would be a great idea to enter the contest, hes a handsome guy, tall and skinny, so i said ok do it, im sure he could win, my problem is, ever since i gave him the ok on it, he went out and bought water balloons and filled them up to be his "boobs" hes already tried on all my clothes and bras to see if he would make a good "woman"...well last night he shaved his legs and his arms and his armpit hair, when i noticed that, i freaked out!I mean i know hes not gay, we have a child together and hes been with me for the past 3 years, hes very in love with me, but i think hes taking this whole "woman" thing too seriously and its starting to freak me out, he knows how i feel, but when i ask him why he already went all the way, he said i dont know...im like how do you NOT know why you shaved yourself? i asked him if hes gay or if he really wants to be a girl? he swears he doesnt, he said its just fun, its different, and i guess i understand, but i wanna get over this fear that hes gay...please help me! i know hes not, but seeing him like that, makes me believe otherwise...grr!

For a thousand dollars I would shave my hubby! I think a lot of guys think about cross dressing and it is just harmless fun. Haven't you ever worn an outfit that is typically male. When I was younger I would wear jeans and a sweatshirt and a lumberjack jacket. It wasn't feminine at all but it didn't make me gay or want to date women, it was just comfortable. I think it is just like when kids play dressup. It is like an adult dressup. Maybe you could have some fun with it, sounds like he is and I wouldn't worry about him being gay I think that there would be more signs.

I'd say you have nothing to worry about!!! You know he is not gay..he is just trying to win the money it sounds like!! At least your boyfriend is adventurous and would try something like that contest, my boyfriend would never do it, I don't think even for a million dollars!!!

I think it sounds like you're boyfriend is just really into winning this contest and realizies that your family could use the extra money. He probably just has a really great sense of humor and wants to make this into a fun contest, he probably went the extra mile to shaving himself in hopes of winning. Good luck, I hope the shaving pays off..hehe.

Sorry to hear that it distresses you. Since he's given you no cause to doubt him in the past I would continue to trust in him.
It looks to me like he is taking the contest seriously and all of the things you mentioned are things I would consider necessary for him to do if he wants to have a serious chance.
It may be a bit hard to do, but why not try seeing it as a piece of fun - maybe get involved by helping him to play dress up, picking good clothes for him to wear and how to put on appropriate make up. I'm sure that it would be easier on him if you weren't acting upset and suspicious and you never know you may enjoy helping him out just this once.

I would not be the least bit worried. I would be if he just came out of nowhere and started doing this, but a thousand dollars is a thousand dollars. If it were me and I really wanted to be convincing, I would do all the shaving also.
Relax, until after the contest. If he still does anything that concerns you after that, then, be worried. I have seen straight men dress up as women for Halloween and they were not trying to win a contest.
