Hi, guys and gals!
I hope everyone is doing well today. Are you looking forward to the weekend? It's about time for Memorial Day weekend, isn't it? Do you have any plans? Even if you don't have special plans, what do you have going on this weekend anyway?
I have no idea what I'm doing this weekend. My sister is coming to visit my parents (without her husband) so I'll probably spend most of the time with her. Then there is church, but nothing too special. Not to say my sister isn't special. : )
So, tell us all about it!

My weekend will be a busy one. I will bring my girls and meet my best friend for a nice lunch. Afterwards, we will proceed to Fun Ranch, my girl's top favorite place. It looks like a giant Lego playhouse and I'm sure my girls will have a blast again.
On Sunday, we will be attending Church services in the morning and go shopping the whole afternoon. Happy weekend, ambie.

There is a county fair that starts tomorrow and runs through next Monday. So we will be going there on Sunday when the sprint car races are going on. That way I can watch my races and the kids can be turned loose on the rides. Monday we'll probably have a big barbeque at the house. That's what we usually do every year, and it's a lot of fun.

That sounds like a fun weekend! I don't think we have county fairs. I mean, every summer the fair comes, but it isn't county, and it's so huge you feel like you're constantly bumping into someone. A county fair though, sounds like good 'ol fashioned fun!

This weekend is graduation at the school where I teach. It is a three day ceremony. On Friday night is Consecration in the church. On Sabbath morning after Sabbath school is the Baccalaureate service and on Sunday morning is Commencement. For the last three years I have been the marshal for graduation. That is a fancy way of saying that I tell each student when to start walking down the aisle. I don't mind it and that way I do not have to march down the aisle myself at Commencement wearing a hot black robe.

Yes it does. On Friday night and Sabbath the services are religious in nature. There is a class night on Saturday night where the seniors put on a variety show with skits and musical numbers. Sunday is less religious but still dignified although some parents like to shout a lot on Sunday.

Oh gosh, this weekend is Memorial Day weekend isn't it?! I don't think I would have noticed until it was right on top of me if you hadn't posted this. :P I have plans on possibly going to an art crawl on Friday evening, a pool birthday party on Saturday, and hopefully just relaxing on Monday! I hope the traffic isn't horrendous on my travels.

I'll be going up to NH to stay at my father's place. My boyfriend and his friends are going camping up there, but since my sister and I didn't wan to camp, we are dropping them off at the trailhead and will them be relaxing at my dad's place. I hope to get a lot of reading done, hopefully be able to spend some time outside, watch a movie or two, and even do some crafting projects. We have already planned food and other goodies while we are up there.
Also there will be shopping at the old country store, this amazing thrift shop, and maybe even a trip to the outlets if it isn't too crowded. It will be hard though because this is a really busy time of year up there. Regardless, I'm sure that we'll be able to find plenty of ways to relax.

I was going to go to the Star Wars Convention in Los Angeles, but I do not have the money and I have summer school, so all of that comes first.

We are camping this weekend with some friends. On Friday afternoon we will leave. Hoping to do some fishing and boating there. I like nature so much. I am planing to take nice walk by the lake side. I think the whole trip would be so much fun.
Hope you would be having a good time with your sister.

I get to work, I think. I requested time off for the following weekend, and my boss said it was fine. But then when he put out the 'tentative' schedule, he completely blew off my request. And gave me Sunday off, and changed me to Monday during the day instead of the evening.
I requested to work both days...my regular shifts.
When I left work yesterday, I did not see if the actual schedule was up yet..so I have no clue when I am working.

I'm sorry, hon. That's just not right. My last job I had a boss like that. I'd ask a couple months before, and then when the time came, she pretended like I has never asked. Even though she told me she marked it on her calendar. I hope your weekend goes smoothly though, whatever you end up doing.

It was long weekend last week so we got to spend a lot of time together. Nothing fancy, just did BBQ and some maintenance for some old stuffs we found in the basement. Woke up at 12 and slept at 11 LOL we were going to go fishing but my husband was too tired working overtime the whole week so we decided to stay at home and play with the cat :)

I was forced into having plans for this weekend but I don't really mind. My sister is getting married on Sunday and I have to pass out the bubbles and do the guestbook. It is a great way to spend time with family. We won't stay late because my son will miss his nap and will need to get some rest.
On monday we plan on doing something like maybe going fishing or something. It should be a fun weekend for us.

This will be a busy weekend for us. Wehave a birthday on Saturday. We also have an Food Faire which I have agreed to make something for, but I'll do that on Friday. Then on Sunday there is yet another festival as there is a big bike race here in ireland called the RAS, and there are loads of events and activities that are going to surround it. I'm not reallyinto bike riding, but it is exciting to watch them cross the finish line and there will be lots of stuff for the kids to do like bike saftery activities and a big ramp style expo with people on BMX (?) bikes doing stunts. We don't have Monday off, here.

I have no idea what I'll be doing this weekend. I just want to get through the week. Tomorrow is the last day of school for my neice and she doesn't go back until August 20th, long break this year. Her summer camp program (it's day camp through the county) doesn't start for a few weeks so going to be dealing with her this week and seeing what happens.
