My daughter is 6 and has been wanting to get her hair cut really short. I don't really like short short hair on girls so I have been putting it off hoping she would forget =) But she didn't and we finally agreed on shoulder length, so I started cutting and I though I did it way too short but it ended up really cute!! I flip it out and it looks adorable!!

Wow you cut it yourself?! Good for you! I am impressed. We've clipped our boys hair at home before and it's been hit or miss depending on how still they are. I do a terrible job, but my hubby is actually pretty good. In the summer I let hubby do it short, and that saves the ridiculous cost of the haircuts for all of them! Was she happy? Nice momma doing it even though you didn't like it short!! :)

She loves it!! I posted a picture, just not with my posting...I couldn't get it together =) I think it is easier to cut my daughters hair over my sons. He is so wiggly and we always end up cutting it shorter than we had planned =) But who wants to pay $20 for a kids hair cut?? not me!!

I cut my girls' hair when they were about 6 years old. They grew tired of having me put it up in braids every night in an attempt to keep it from tangling. They did let it grow out. Hair grows very fast on children. If they don't like it, remind them that it does grow out eventually. They now wear their hair in various lengths. ONe is short, one is long.

That's nice that you agreed to let her have it cut. I bet it looks cute on her. My son's hair grows really fast so I've had his cut twice already and he's only a year old. But it's easier for you to let girls' hair grow out before you have to cut it.

Good morning,
My god a lady who has such strong determination at the age of 6 , she will make her hubby a great pie to eat for life :).
No, its good to have strong determination and will power at the early ages , it provides a strong foundation of a corporate traits as the year passes , and its the soft skills and determination that wanted by this new generation.
Now to the hair cut , congratulation on doing another thing out of your job with great sucess (i hope you are not a proffesional job of hair cutting ).And please share her picture with us , wanna see your masterpiece (pun implied).
Have a great day ahead.

It's funny how things you say or promise to do - they never, ever forget. But it's nice that you were finally able to give her the hair cut she wanted. And see? It turned out to be not so bad! Way to Go!

It good that you cut your daughter's hair the way she wanted. I am glad that you both liked it.
