Distance relationships

hard to tell,love seems to be such a complicated thing..but i've seen from some good examples that it's possible to keep a long distance relationship.they are still very happy together!! guess it depends on persons involved..real love doesn't know for obstacles..

It's really hardwork. I have been in a distance relationship for the last 8 years. He is an expat holding a work permit. Each time, his work permit expires, he has to go back. There were times he was away for nearly 1.5 years. We do miss each other a lot. We talk on phone but not that much of expensive phone calls. Eight years has passed and we are still together. Each year, our relationship has just grown stronger and we get closer. Of course, there were times we wanted to give up but the love we had for us gave us the strength to go on.

Of course. My parents did for an entire year.

I think its possible if they keep in contact with each other often.Love is powerful so i really think so.

I think if they love each other enough noting is impossible even distant relationship(watch movie called Vir Zaara & u'll know!)

My husband is military. It can work, but it is hard. he left for basic right after high school( Aug 2004) we just started dating. I went to his graduation and then I did not see him again until the following March 2005 when we got married. Which was a quick weekend thing and We were apart until July. It sucked. But we survived. I think it makes you stronger if you can make it through these things.
