I do but not that I see very often or could say I am really close to! I wish I could but nevertheless it is still lovely when you do meet up and catch up on each others lives and things! It doesn't surprise me that you still have that friend Mom cos you are soooooo special! xxx

Yes, I still have friends from my first school. I just saw one of them last week as it happened. I also have one very good friend from my grammar school... her name is Shirley. We see each other from time to time, but not that often. It's nice though, to catch up on things.
Brightest Blessings, my friend.

Nope. I moved a really long way away, and pretty much left my whole history behind. I have recently talked to a couple of people I used to know online, but I wouldn't really say we are still friends.
I'm a really different person than I was when I was younger. The last time I went back to Kentucky (which is where I lived most often as a kid) was several years ago, and while there I visited a girl I had known from high school. It was weird because when we had known each other in school she had kind of been my "good girl friend" and I was her "bad girl friend" and now we had kind of switched places. It's strange how things like that happen.

I don't have any friends from school tohang out with. The ones that I thought were my friends, weren't. I have seen a few of them since school, but they act like they do not even know who I am. that used to bother me alot but not any more. they never were my friends to begin with. I did have one friends but they moved when I was younger and I do not know where they moved to.

Thanks alot raydene. I am me and if they don't like me and accept me for who I am, then they are not worth the time anyway. It is very frustrating and it hurts but I get tired of going out of my way to please people and I end up getting hurt and used in the end. I am a very nice person also and people just don't take the time to see it. I am just to the point of believing I will never meet anyone who will actually want to get to know me and understand me and respect me. I mainly stay to myself because I am tired of trying to get people to realise I am a good person and deserve to be treated that way.

Yes! And now he is my boyfriend! :-)
We were classmates in preschool, battling for the top position in class...our parents became close friends since our house is just a walk away from the school, his mom would stay with my mom in our house and go back to school to get us after class. Then I started seeing him in a different way when we were in Grade 5. My parents transferred me into another school when we were in Grade 6.. and i got a letter from him! ;-) We kept in touch through letters and he told me he liked me! (blushes)
Then when we were in High School he went to our house to see me! :-) A perfect gentleman huh? But having a boyfriend back then was still a no-no to my parents so he decided to stop going visiting me!
At exactly 10 years (when we are both working now), just a bday greeting started it all again! :-) What we have is a long distance relationship, but hey, i can say that I couldnt ask for anything better right now! :-)

I've known my two best friends since we're 7 years old. A guy and a gal. The three of us practically grew up together, know each other's families and had shared a lot through the years. A lot of people are saying that we treated each other like sibling. I feel blessed to have my two best friends.

good friends, no. But thenn again, none of my childhood friends are into science fiction. I have been seeing a friend from before elementry since her mom lives where my mom does & I've been in touch off & on with a friend from second grade. But most of my friends are from much later than that.

Well, I have some friends I don't see much from 1970 & 1972. My friend & client I've known since 1976 & I've known the roommate since 1984, tho we've only been roommies since 1999. The cats we've had the longest are her Nino (Spud) who is 13 & my Scamp, who will be 10, but I've had since Nov 1998.

I am still good friends with a friend from school. we have been friends for 40 years. Since kingergarten. There has been a couple years we didn't talk, then one of us would call and it would be like old times. We have been through everything together. We will be friends forever.

Since my dad worked the power plant startup circuit, we travelled to much to get attached to any one for very long!
Who I considered my best friend in high school was killed her freshman year in college, it absolutely tore me up...even though we weren't such big pals anymore.
I try not to get to attached now..just for that reason!

I really rarely see anyone I went to school with. They all got married or moved away or had children.
There are a few that I will run across from time to time, but that is about it. I always heard that school was the best part of your life and after graduation you wouldn't see your friends. Well I always thought we are going to keep in touch. Well it just normally doesn't happen that way. People marry move away, have children, are into other things, etc.
Now we have meet new friends as a couple and hang out with those people. One of them is the man of the couple and he was 2 grades behind me in school. But I really didn't know him that well in school. He is really cool, but other than that we have lost touch with our friends.

My friends and I have been together for such a long time already. Most of them were my classmates from elementary and high school. They are still the people that I hang out with. We still have a good communication and see each other whenever possible.

Oh yes, I have good friend/buddy that with me since 4 years old till now. We can simply talk anything, no grudges, without using our brain as we know each other so well. Think of her, I miss her as I have left my country to be with my spouse. :o(
