Definitely!!!!! There are only two more days of school for my kids. And I am soooooo ready!!!!
This is my break! :) I do not have to get up early to wake everyone up. I do not have to do their hair every morning when I would much rather lay back down. ha ha
I do not have to worry about getting them to pick out clothes for the next day and sending then back to try again for one reason or another. I do not have to worry about a specific bed time because it they stay up a bit later, they sleep a bit later too. I don't have to worry about the school calling me to volunteer for something. I can have them take the dogs out to go potty or for a walk. I don't have to help 3 children study for a spelling test Monday through Thursday. I don't have to worry about a lot of things that I worry about and do when school it in! :)
So, am I ready for summer break? Oh yeah!!!!

I can understand all of that. My daughters are fun to be around. I will not be on the computer as often as I'd like...LOL

I am so ready for summer vaction. Ready to sleep in and be able to get up and go with my kids without having to worry we need to be back by a certian time bacuse they have school. I love taking my kids on what I call little field trips during the summer. It keeps them occupied and gets me out of the house.

I can understand that. But my daughters are going to want to do something every day they are off...believe me..I will be busy. On the other hand, when school starts...I will have an empty house, so what will I do all day?

I am ready. I will get to see more of the grandkids, and less of other people's kids. I will be down to one job,at least for a little while. So sorry about the bad cold.

My daughter is ready! I am too- My daughter can’t wait because she spends 1 day with Grandpa- 2 days at daycare- usually goes to the beach or picnic and park- 1 day home and 1 day at her dads this summer during the weekdays- She is also sick of school- lol… She is 10. We have a lot of fun days planned and some relaxing ones to- I can’t wait to go camping on the long weekends- they are so much fun- and we are visiting the amusement/water parks at least once a month! Should be loads of fun! Summer is also nice because we don’t have to get up and rush around like on school days- I can’t wait- About 1 month left for my daughter in school here in NY.

Considering that my son is only two, yes. However, there are those little things that we need to keep our eyes on. For those near those fires, the smoke can be hazardous. For those on the coast, sunscreen is a daily necessity. And for those who worry constantly, the everknowing presence of our children. Whether we like it or not, some of us really aren't ready for ourselves... Enjoy
