I'm not married, and I don't have a boyfriend right now, but I probably would get to have the wedding of my dreams. Weddings are a really big deal in my family. All our relatives from around the world attend, even our most distant cousins.
Seeing so many weddings has given me an idea of what I want and what I don't want. I know I do NOT want an outdoor wedding. A cousin of mine had what was supposed to be a beautiful wedding surrounded by New England rolling hills and nature. The recpetion took place in a huge tent under the stars. Unfortunately it was mosquito city! At the reception, they have adequate screening in the tent, so we spent the whole meal swatting bugs. For dessert, they went around to the tables giving us bottle of bug spray. Never again!

I'm visualizing the ideal wedding as we speak.
Maybe having an indoor wedding in a rural church and then having a garden tea party reception right afterwards. It would have to be daytime because the bugs come out at night (as I learned from my cousin's wedding).

I hope you have a great wedding. That is neat that everyone in the family attends..I would love that. Wow, that wedding in New England minus the bugs sounds beautiful!

I had a traditional wedding with more than 1000 invitees and that was like a dream come true... I enjoyed that day even though it was very very very hot! That is how i always wanted to get married and i have accomplished it with the help of my parents and close ones!
The most memorable day ofmy life and it was as i expected and plan it...

My hubs and I eloped in Louisville on the way to Florida nearly 14 years ago. The ceremony was short, but memorable, and I wouldn't change a single moment of it.
