How do you deal with Pain?

I just had a baby three weeks ago, and experienced the PAIN of childbirth. I had a drug-free labour and was amazed at how I was able to focus myself and deal with it. I am now thinking i might be able to withstand the pain of a tattoo! Which brings me to the question..How do you deal with Physical Pain?
