All media avoids village News. They give importants for Global News.I admit the importants of Global News.
But,why do they avoid villages?
Every village has it`s own culture and way of life.A village has it`s own economy. There are many villages all over the world.
Every village has it`s individuality.
I prepare a website for villages and village people.
Their social, economical and cultural back ground will be discussed.
For the purpose I need helpers.
Do you have interest in the matter?
Do not expect any remuneration.
Can you offer your service?

I live in the 5th largest city in Texas - hardly a village. We have a local paper that does put local interest on the front page (when some major global event doesn't over run it.)
I think if I lived in a small place I would be interested in the local news, even if there were no local outlet like you are offering. I know that when I've stopped in small towns while driving around Texas I've noticed they have a community board or, if the town is large enough, a weekly paper.

You are right. In my place, eventhough there is Government channel (TV) for border states consisting mostly rural villages, other channells do not give any preference to them. In newspapers also we can see the same thing. In my place the urban people who decides the fate of India just forgets the words of Gandhiji that "the Indian people lives in villages"

You are right that media concentrates on global news and avoids villages. Villages are a very important part of our social structure ans should be given their due importance. It is a good idea to start a website on villages and its people. What sort of service you are expecting feom us?
