are you afraid of black cat?

Well I have a black cat with just alittle white on her face. She came to my back door one day. She was so skinny so I fed her. And after that she has been part of our family ever since. She is the sweetess cats Ive have had. Thats just an old wives tales.LOL

they say when a black cat passes you its a bad luck..lol!

Lol how can black color is considered to be associated with bad luck and I totally not believe in this saying. For me, a black cat looks quite cute as that shown in your image above. I also noticed that many mylotters pick black cat as their avatars which are really attractive. I did hear, “If a person happened to come upon a black cat on the Friday of 13th then is believed that bad luck might fall on that person”, so we’re better not to see a black cat on that particular day lol.

No way! Black cats causing bad luck?! They're too cute to be causing ANY bad luck! I already met a black cat once, and not once did it cause me bad luck! As a matter of fact, it rubbed its head against me and started to become just as affectionate as Butterball Jr.! And this happened 2 or 3 years ago at night, and one time before me and my mom left!

Nope, im not afraid of a black cat. The old superstition of a black cat bringing bad luck is not true. Luck is how you treat people.

hmm actually not,but i like white,brown cats,they are so cute,even i have a cat whose name is kelly,she is so cute..i love her alot.in my views black cat looks horrible,my kid brother was afraid of black cat.....

My Goldie's father, I believe, was a black cat and a cute one at that. There was this cat in my neighborhood who was the sweetest black cat anyone ever knew, his name was Salem. My friends and I all believe that he is my cats father because her personality is just like his and a lot of her physical features resemble his. We already know who her mother was, but her father we could only assume.

I've been hearing all my life that black cats are bad luck. Well, that's why I used to be afraid of them, but not any more. Black cats are just like any other cat you come across. I don't know where or how this myth originated and it's a mystery to me. No feelings towards black cats. The only thing I don't like is that stare they give you when you're walking by.

I total agree with you I love cats period. I have never believed that dumb tale of "if a black cat crosses your path it gives you bad luck" all cats have there own personality and thats what makes them special I think. A black cat could just so happen to be the best cat you have ever had. Don't judge a cat by its color black cats will give you no bad luck it all in peoples head if they think something will give them bad luck then the will find something that happened to them to blame on the bad luck item.

My relatives and great grand aunts told me this that black cats were symbolically associate with witchcraft and evil. For ex. A black cat crossing ones path was considered good luck however they were also seen by the church as associated with witches. It was the church, who considered them unholy and pagan, who altered their reputation. One of the strongerst superstitions, still feared by many people, say that black cats crossing ones path represent bad luck. By the thoughts of this it makes me scared and creepy at all... Wouldnt wish to see a black of course.. ;)

I am not afraid of the black cats as I have one. I have never had any bad luck with this cat she seems to be the scardy cat to me she is afraid of lots of things.

I don't think they are bad luck. Our cat, Morgana, looks black (she is actually chocolate brown) with white paws and white under her chin. I've owned several black cats as well as others that weren't black. I went through a period where I didn't care much for cats but thanks to our present cat, I like them again. LIVE IN PEACE

Whe i was kids i had a very cute black cat,He was so adorable i don't afraid at all.I don't know about black cat brings bad luck is tue or not.May be certain people may beleive that,but i don't really care about that,as long as i love the cat and he was favorite cat,he is smart and playful.He is not arround no more i miss my black cat so much.

I am so guilty of thinking that a black cat is bad luck. I recently got four kittens myself and two of them I wasnt sure what the color would be and I was afraid that I would end up with a black cat. I wont ignore a black cat or run in the other direction but I personally dont want to own a black cat.

Doesn't bother me. I'm a cat lover and not very superstitious (don't know how to spell that word, LOL).

I love black cats! They're very pretty and have a nice personality. I especially do find them mystic and already find it special to see a fully black cat as so many were killed during the Middle Ages.

I love the white cat , but i dont have problem with black cat i dont believe the bas luck

Well for me i believe that we create our own destiny luck bad or good has nothing to do with it. I have four cats and black is the main color in all of them and i think black cat are beautiful. Shiney black fur and green eyes like mine do just awesome. You know it you believe something to be bad luck you can make it happen even if it isnt true like horescopes i find you can make them happen as well not that they are true to start with but you can. After all we do create our own destinys right.

I like cats very much and never afraid of them.However,sometimes they can be scary for me especially when I am alone or walking alone at nights.If I see black cats at nights and if I am alone,I a little bit scared of them.Otherwise,I never afraid of them.

I am not afraid of a black cat. But some are superticious of them when they cross the road in front of them. I think black cats are very pretty.
