As far as chains: if I want something fancy and unusual I go to Coldstone Creamery. I like mixing cookie batter, cake batter, and Resse's. If I just want good quality ice cream, I like Haagen Daas or Baskin Robbins. I also like Brigham's (it's an old-fashioned New England chain--they still serve it in the old-fashioned 1950s ice cream dishes).
I like vanilla, chocolate, mint-chocolate chip, coffee, oreo, and rocky road.
When I buy ice cream from the market, I usually get Edy's.

hmm..ive only been to 2 different icecream chains..baskin robbins and Dairy Queen. dairy queen only uses soft serve icecream..which i love, but it doesnt come in all the fantastic flavors that baskin robbins offers! lol
if im wanting my all time favorite flavor..Golden Medal Ribbin..then i go to Baskin Robbins! if im wanting a sundae or some kind of blizzard, cone, then i go to Dairy Queen!
course dairy queen is much closer to my house then baskin robbins.

I had a pecan mudslide. It was so yummy. Vanilla ice cream topped with chocolate and caramel sauce with toasted pecans on it. It was kind of expensive I thought at 3.49,but it was good.
