Best Laptop for a $1000 budget

Hi! I'm looking for a laptop that would suit my $1000 budget. What brand of laptop and what specs should I look for? Help. I'm buying in 2mos. by the way.

I would suggest that you add 100$ more & get yourself an Apple mac book Laptop

In my opinion the IBM laptop is best all of the world.I hope I can have one in future.
