Congratulations on your new baby! My births were not too bad. Labor didn't hurt much (I realize I was lucky), but pushing was a bit of an ordeal. I think the worst part was healing after the birth. Good luck with everything.

My labor and delivery for my son, which is now 19 yrs old, was a hard one. I was in labor for 18 hours. He faught against it and didn't want to be born. My daughter that's 15 yrs old now, was different story. I went into labor at 5:30 am with only mild cramps until 3:30 pm that evening. When the pain started it didn't let up for 3 and a half hours. It was straight pain and no meds helped. She was determined to be born and nothing was going to stop her. It took the doctor 1 hour after her birth before I could leave the delivery room.
