i can speak 2 languages and 2 dialects. and a smattering of french, japanese and spanish. i suppose if you travel in a country, you pick up the basics to survive. like ' can you speak english' is a good phrase to know. haha.

I know a few words in Spanish, French and German.
Does that count?=)

a few words don't count. but if you can converse in those languages, then they're counted as an ability to speak foreign language.

The only language I can speak fluently is English, but I can survive in Quebec for a week speaking French, and I understand enough Danish that my mother can't keep anything a secret from me. I listened really closely when she would talk to my grandparents in Danish.

Wow!- English + Indonesian + French + Dutch + Arabic? you must be kidding me or you're simply awesome! not easy to have these languages inside your head at once. You've got to teach me one of those languages next time. he he he...
