As a devout Evertonian, i am fed up of Liverpudlians claiming that if they win the champions league tonight again as they did two years ago, they are the best teram in Europe.
I dont know your views but i dont believe that this is fairly justified, obviously for the reason that you dont play all the teams and may be lucky in avoiding the best teams.
I know that this is not the case with Liverpool because they have played Barca, Chelsea and now Milan and i also know that there is no other way of deciding who gets the honours unless a superleague was formed which would be near impossible and against what many people think.
Its quite easy to see however, that Liverpool as they are, do not have the best team in europe and could name 10 better footballing teams with ease.
I may sound bitter but its true, even kopites must agree with me so please, if you win, dont call youself the champions of europe because your not the best team, european champions is more truthful.
From a bitter evertonian haha!

Who wins these days seems to depend more on how much money they have to spend than on strategy or anything else. Perhaps Everton can attract some billionaire willing to lavish lots of money to buy players!

hm i think we can't say the winner is the best team because if you know champions leage is not regullar leage, the total of the match is more less than regular league..so i think in this champions league, it's more about the stability from the team to endure such many game or match to run with good stamina and focus..

glad to meet an evertonian. had another post asking whether most people living in Liverpool are evertonians. that's what I've heard.
on the match, well, the ball is round and i wouldn't say Liverpool is the BEST in europe. even rafa admitted that ac milan had better players, on a one-on-one comparison basis. I suppose there are 5 better teams, I won't way ten.
but the way footie is going these days, it's all down to who has the largest budget. and seems like one day EPL will be run by the yanks.
