I wonder what would happen to the show in general if they added a Love Interest for House? Would it ruin the show, add more tension to House's personality, get in the way of some of his diagnosis's. Hey what do you out there think about it??

I don't know what it would do. However, I don't think that the show would be as interesting if they added a love interest for him. He seems to be very relaxed most of the time and that is what makes him tick. If they add tension to his life, it might not work.

Well a few episodes ago he did get that nutritionist to go to the bar with him right? Isn't that an interest of some kind? I think an actual relationship would ruin the show. House is the solitary scrooge, he can't have companionship! Haha

I love House...does that count...?? Actually, it would be interesting as long as it didn't get too intense, but then he is intense most of the time.

I haven't watch this past season, but i sensed something between him and cuddy. Like maybe eventually something would happen there. i think it would be an interesting twist if they went with it.

i think it would be funny seeing house with a love interest. prodicer David Shore says that there will be "interaction" cameron and house. that would be good, i like cameron, shes perfect for house..they will give each other "balance"

He kind of already has "Love Intrerests". Fellow doctors, ex-wives, and that CREEPY girl who was stalking him until she turned 18. She's really the only one that got in his way of making a diagnosis, probably because she kept popping up places and being weird.

I think that house needs a love interest to add a new twist to the show. Everytime he seems to get close to someone, I root for a relationship but it doens't happen. I think it would add more tension to the show because of House's personality and it would only ruin the show if it made him more mellow and unHouselike at work. House's personality adds to the whole show.

A Love interest might be a good idea for the show.

I think they should have House interested in someone. No one from the show now 'in case they break up'. Remember, that they kinda played with this topic with Sela Ward's character for a short while.

It would really be great if House actually falls in love and get his bestfriend to prove that he's actually human and has feelings. I don't think it could actually get in the way of his work because House is a very objective doctor and is good at what he's doing. It would only probably get in the way of his work if the person he falls in love with becomes his patient.

It would be interesting. I would love to see the love interest's reaction to his sarcastic humor and his vicodin addiction. Or if she would be able to handle his cold and uncaring personality. (Even if we do know that House has a heart. =P)

Well, he WAS married (or was she his girlfriend...?), and they had a whole thing going on with his ex wife lady for a little while that just ended up with his heart being broken... Er, though I'm sure House wouldn't admit to ever having a broken heart. Sometimes I think there is something going on between House and Cuddy. I think that would be kind of cute. Cuddy might be one of the only people who is able to handle him.
