Where has spring gone?

As I was sitting in my house sweltering yesterday, I wondered what happen to spring. It is the middle of May and already hitting the 90's here in the midwest. Maybe I am remembering wrong, but a few years ago I don't remember needing to have the air conditioner running until much later in the year. So, where you live do you still have more than one day of spring?

Yes here in Kentucky it's a low to mid 80's. Still too cool to warm the swimming pool, but nice enough to enjoy the outdoors. I think it's a cooler year here. Normally we are in the swimming pool a good two weeks before school is out.
