Being a fan of all sorts of music from around the world, I do enjoy the traditional music of Japan. But I also love the cheery bouncey energetic music of Morning Musume, and Koda Kumi are quite good too! It's impossible not to bounce along and feel cheered by a Morning Musume track - the jolly cheeriness is positively theraputic, and highly infectious! I wouldn't say they're the best band in the world, but they're certainly one of the best for bouncifying one's mood, in the same sort of way as Chorlton did for the Wheelies :-)

For 10 years, and with a changing line-up, they have produced a great deal of cheering music, with a diversity of styles. They seem to be Japans answer to Steps! Great fun, and I wish them a further 10 years of music happiness.
